The “Sure Baby” phase of the relationship continues. Earlier in the week, the question was, “will you come to the mall with me?” (for an undetermined amount of time.) And of course, I said, “Sure Baby.” Anything a girl wants during the “sure baby” phase of a new relationship. Last night it was Wanna come to dinner with me and my friends? And I’m still holding strong…”Sure Baby.” And I did. It was actually a pretty cool evening. It was the Doctor’s job to make a turkey. And well, she didn’t take it out of the freezer in time and she was freaking out. Have no fear, Big Al is here! I got on the phone and made a couple of calls and found a place that would Cajun Fry a turkey by the end of the day.
Dinner with 10 people that you don’t know is always a fun night. That means its 10 people that haven’t heard any of my stories. WOOHOO!!!! New Meat!Even though there was a room full of people when I got there, no one had carved the turkey yet. So I grabbed the Big Knife and a Big Fork and I started carving for the room. I carved and carved and we sat and ate. It was a very fun night with the group.

Speaking of the Doctor, two recent developments… First of all, I may have mentioned this already but she is my date to the Christmas Party in a couple of weeks. Some have said that it is risky asking a person to the Christmas party 3 weeks in advance but I did. And so far it looks like all is good. The second thing is this and those that know me knew it was coming…Mexico…yup, I asked her to come with me in January for a quick 48 hour trip to Playa. So, that’s the latest. Have a great weekend.
