The Longest Story About…
The Longest Story About…

I went to a movie screening last night of “A Star is Born” with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. What a great movie and a great love story. They had me hooked from the beginning of the movie. Lady Gaga in her first leading role was awesome. I am very happy to report that even though I was watching the movie in the reclining chair and enjoying a glass of merlot, I didn’t fall asleep. That’s huge for me. I won’t ruin it for you just in case you don’t know the story… But it is well worth the cash.

Speaking of cash. When I got home at 9:45, I started watching a little TV and for whatever reason, I started looking for my wallet. Maybe I was trying to buy something or pay something online. Anyway, I couldn’t find my wallet. I looked in my truck. I searched the house again… nothing. I Googled the number to the movie theatre and it was an 800#. Now it’s 10pm and I had to make a decision. Do I drive 10 miles back to the theatre, park at the mall, go inside, ask the person in the booth, or at the concession stand, to go in the movie where someone is likely sitting, ask them to get up in the middle of their movie, turn on the light on my phone while the person is standing there, search, and then come back home? Only to find my wallet on the table… That’s what usually happens… Well, I wasn’t going to be able to sleep if I didn’t at least try. So off I went. I drove to the mall, parked my truck, went inside, took the escalator up, asked the ticket booth lady if anyone had turned in a wallet, went to the information booth, asked the concession person, went in the movie theatre… Luckily, there was no movie playing. I got on my hands and knees and looked around. NOTHING! I knew it… As I was leaving, I turned around, went back to the chair and reclined it. BAAM, there it was. It was lodged so far back that the employees would have never found it… That was the longest story about a lost wallet ever!
