I had a great workout yesterday and decided to be all healthy and go try out this new juice bar for dinner. Yes, a little intense trying to pass off some green liquid as dinner especially when I had hardly eaten anything yesterday. Of course, it didn’t work out that well. I went with the Greens combo of spinach, kale, celery, lemon and cayenne pepper. Sounds bad right? Actually, the juice was delicious and filled me up, not at all, so I decided to throw in a Kashi pizza which is literally the only thing left to eat in our place. I don’t know how I managed to burn the entire thing, but I did and still attempted to eat it anyways. I was hungry enough that even burnt pizza was an option. Gross. To make up for my atrocious cooking abilities, I cleaned. I also suck at that, but I figured I could at least make a little bit of effort and Holly would appreciate it. I made a decision to get rid of as many things in my closet as possible. I have too much stuff and it’s really all so unnecessary. I always say I’m going to get rid of tons of things and then I can’t part with stuff, but now its’ really happening. Goodwill, consignment, here I come.

This is super corny but I was reading over some Nora Ephron writing samples yesterday since she died and it’s all over the news. She is behind You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle, which I don’t necessarily love, but I have seen and like. It’s her writing that is so good. Someone posted on their Facebook yesterday this paragraph. “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”I am not even romantic and that is just such a good line. Makes me wonder if that’s even a possibility to find someone that makes you feel that way. I need to get back to reading more. I know it’s kinda boring, but I do feel that it makes me so much smarter and better with words. That and more piano lessons are going to happen on my staycation next week.
