Channing Tatum is in great shape. Yesterday, he posted a video of him slowly, but not in slow motion, walking out of the ocean after a mile swim. His caption said “I have done all kinds of [BS] to get in or stay in shape. Almost everything you can think of. And i have to say nothing yet has been more suffocating and exhausting and effective than freestyle wrestling or open ocean water swimming. There are moments in both that i am always like i think I might die haha.”

Sam Asghari is more than just Britney Spears’ boyfriend. He’s very serious about his acting career, which seems to be taking off. Sam was featured in the premiere of “Hacks” on HBO Max and now has a recurring role on Season 3 of Showtime’s comedy series “Black Monday” starring Don Cheadle! In fact, Sam is in four out of the 10 episodes this season. AND he’s going to be in Season 3 of “The Family Business” on BET and BET Plus playing an assassin. Sam told Variety, “Everybody that looks like a model or a good-looking person is usually not a good actor. That’s just the perception. But the truth is, I’ve been acting since back in high school — I was doing theater and arts. I was doing Shakespeare, you know, ‘Macbeth,’ ‘Hamlet.’ And right now, I’m getting the opportunity to finally do it as a profession, rather than a hobby.” When asked about his ultimate acting goal, Sam told Variety, “I want to get into blockbusters. I want to get into TV shows that get on Netflix and become fan favorites. My ultimate goal is to really become a well-rounded actor.” He added that his ultimate goal is to be the first Middle Easterner that plays a superhero.

“SNL” had it’s 46th season finale over the weekend, hosted by Anya Taylor-Joy from “The Queen’s Gambit.” Musical guest Lil Nas X had a lot of people talking after his performance of “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” He was grinding on a stripper pole, dropped to the ground and split his pants wide open in the FRONT. He quickly covered the gaping hole with his hand for the rest of the song. He later tweeted, “I know I do a lot of planned [stuff] but ripping my pants on live television is not one of them.” Meantime, SNL fans believe five cast members were dropping hints that they won’t be back for Season 47. During the opening scene, the cast was divided into groups, and one group included the four who’ve been there the longest: Kenan Thompson (18 seasons), Kate McKinnon (10 seasons), and Aidy Bryant and Cecily Strong (8 Seasons each). At one point, Kate got choked up when she said, quote, “This is a year when we realized we are more than just a cast, we are a family.” And then later during “Weekend Update,” Pete Davidson ended his appearance by saying, “I’m very grateful to be here, and it has been an honor to grow up in front of you guys.” And then Cecily came to the desk as a drunk talk show host to sing “My Way.”

The Weeknd was the top winner at the Billboard Music Awards, taking home 10 awards, which now gives him a total of 19. Among his wins, “Blinding Lights” took top Hot 100 song and he swept all the R&B categories. Pop Smoke won five BBMAs, including top Billboard 200 album for “Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon.” He also won top new artist, making him the first artist to win this award posthumously. Pop Smoke died in February 2020. And BTS won four awards, including top duo/group for the second time in three years. BTS also took top social artist for the fifth straight year. And Bad Bunny won four BBMAs, including including top Latin artist for the second year in a row. He also swept the artist, album and song awards in Latin. Drake won two awards — top streaming artist and a special award for artist of the decade. For the complete list of winners, check out Billboard.com.

First LA, then Montana, and now Miami! That Bennifer 2.0 train keeps chugging along! Ben Affleck flew into Miami to hang with Jennifer Lopez, who’s renting a house there while she works on some projects. Back in March, Jennifer called off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez. A few weeks later, she was caught sneaking visits with Ben. But TMZ says Ben and Jen have been in “regular contact by email” since February, which was when A-Rod’s DMs to “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy came to light. A source told Us Weekly that Jen and Ben are “going with the flow and making plans to meet up as often as possible, but there’s still some discussing to do before they officially go public…When the time is right and assuming things continue to evolve romantically between them, likely a month or two, they’ll probably go Instagram official or step out hand in hand at a restaurant somewhere.”
