Michelle won an Escape From 2013 trip giveaway to the Dominican Republic this holiday season! She and one guest is going to Casa de Campo in La Romana next week to its famed resort known for hosting A-listers!
Here was her Escape from 2013 letter:
Am I ready to KISS 2013 goodbye? You bet! Almost monthly, life was filled with tears, fears, stress, and change! I started 2013 by quitting smoking. This is not for the faint of heart by the way! The first month was the worst and used nicotine gum to ease the pain! The only problem was I couldn’t figure out how to keep the gum lit & smoke it! Did I mention the 15lb weight gain! Argh! March rolled in with a rowdy 20 yr old daughter getting her second MIP and daily fights about friend &life choices! I sent my daughter to California to look at colleges and let my family in San Diego teach her party time is not everyday! 3 months later we got the ” you’re gonna be a grandma” call! Change of plans again, move daughter home! Then 3 months ago, my husband of 16 years informed me he was moving out & wanted a divorce!So, I’ve spent the last 2 months splitting our life in half, our home is in foreclosure and I’ll have to be out w/thin 60 days! I truly need this trip to start 2014 w/a smile! Thnx
