Earlier this year, Jeff Bezos said he’d be stepping down as CEO of Amazon this year. Yesterday, he announced his last day will be July 5. In a statement, Jeff said, “We chose that date because it’s sentimental for me — the day Amazon was incorporated in 1994, exactly 27 years ago.” Jeff isn’t retiring. He’s just moving over into his new role as executive chairman of Amazon. The new CEO will be Andy Jassy, who’s been with Amazon since 1997. Side note: Yesterday, Amazon also agreed to buy MGM movie studio for $8.45B.

SPOILER ALERT!!! The season finale of “The Masked Singer” was last night. Coming in third was the Chameleon, who revealed himself to be Wiz Khalifa. He was the very first contestant to make it all the way to the finals by rapping. Second place went to the Black Swan, JoJo, who said being on “The Masked Singer” helped her overcome the severe stage fright she’d developed and get her mojo back. And congratulations to the winner of Season 5’s Golden Mask, the Piglet, aka, Nick Lachey. “The Masked Singer” returns for Season 6 this fall.

When McDonald’s offered the Travis Scott meal — a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, medium fries with BBQ sauce and a Sprite — it was so popular that we experienced a brief national hamburger shortage. Will BTS have the same effect on McNuggets. Through June 20, McDonald’s is offering the BTS meal — a 10-piece chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Coke and two new dipping sauces — Chili and Cajun — inspired by recipes from McDonald’s in South Korea. And yes, each meal comes with free photo cards. There’s also a McD’s/BTS merch collaboration, which is available on BTS’ official fan merchandise store. They’re selling everything from hoodies and bathrobes to socks and sandals, all featuring images of the McDonald’s french fry box logo with seven fries, one for each member of BTS.

Ryan Seacrest has a lot of money. And a lot of that money came from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” He was creator and executive producer of the show, which ends its run on E! next month. So who’s going to fill that Kardashian void? Page Six says Ryan thinks Bella Thorne’s dysfunctional family would be PERFECT. Back in the day, Bella and her two sisters moved to LA to make it big in Hollywood and Bella hit it big first by landing a Disney contract. But those Disney days are WAY behind her and now Bella and her sibs are stirring up all kinds of chaos in Tinseltown. Ryan’s rep told Page Six that this story is completely false, but another source told them that Ryan and the Thorne sisters are trying to work out their schedules to do some test taping.

“Friends: The Reunion” is now available for your streaming pleasure, and if you don’t want it to be spoiled, you better go watch it quick! I will tell you this much….We almost had Ross and Rachel in real life. While promoting the show, the cast revealed they had a pact that none of them would ever hook up because if things didn’t work out, it could ruin things for everybody. But David Schwimmer confessed that during that first season of filming, he had a massive crush on Jennifer Aniston, and she said the feeling was mutual. But David said it was like two ships passing in the night because one of them was always in a relationship and they never crossed any boundaries. However, they both said that during breaks, they would spoon on the couch for a nap. While they were promoting the reunion special, the cast also talked about the one time they didn’t do their traditional huddle before filming, Matt LeBlanc dislocated his shoulder. They show footage of it actually happening! And I won’t spoil it for you, but a very special guest shows up to join Lisa Kudrow for “Smelly Cat.”
