J-Si’s Blog: Ouch!
J-Si’s Blog: Ouch!

In the words of Big Al Mack: I did something I have never done before this weekend! I really did. I tried doing stunts. Key word: tried. This happened on Friday night into Saturday morning… I was immobile from Saturday until today. I wish I could show you the bruise on my right butt cheek. It’s not pretty… and neither is the bruise on my back, on my face, on my chest, my knees, and my elbows. I honestly look like a college girl the day after a party. You know how they have random bruises, but they don’t really remember how they got them? Difference is that I remember how I got them, and felt every single one of them. I ended up accidentally getting punched in the face a couple of times too, and you know what? It was awesome! It kind of feels like when I was a kid, and rough housed with my friends… except I am 30 years old and don’t really bounce back right away. Luckily, this time I did not get pulled over on the way home.

cribIn other news, Cason now suffers from day and night confusion. He likes to wake up at 1:30 am, and scream, talk, jump, play, and do other fun activities as loud as he can in his crib. This started happening when we came home with Chloe, but has gotten worse. When I walk into the room, he pretends to be sleeping, and as soon as I walk out, he gets back to having fun. I don’t get how he doesn’t love sleeping as much as his mom and dad love sleeping. Poor guy’s world is turned upside down. I just keep telling myself that this will only last a few months, and then we will get back into a groove.
