J-Si’s Blog: Sugar babies…

I am going to have to blame sugar babies for this. They are ruining father daughter relationships. I know, that may be a strong statement. It is. But, I do have some tangible proof, that was brought up to me by a victim of this… my wife.

sugar-babiesLook, there is nothing wrong with being a sugar baby, or a gold digger. It’s the man’s fault for falling for it. Those qualities are not hidden very well. Now, if you really fall in love with a really rich older guy, with too much cologne, and grandpa breath, when you are a hot 22 year old girl… my props go out to you! But, it is fair to say that when you see these couples (50-60 year old man and a 20ish year old girl) out together, it creates a bit of a scene. People stare. People judge. Older ladies give the stink eye for free at no cost to you. It’s like there is a stink eye “all must go” sale, and the lady wants to get rid of every single one. That kind of attention. You rarely hear someone say, “oh, look at that gorgeous couple! They are so truly in love!”

You get more of the comments that go along the line of, “eww! He’s old enough to be her dad. Well, sugar baby ladies, you are ruining it for those women, who really want to spend quality time with their fathers! My wife got the super stink eye from some ladies today because she was with her dad… and my two kids. So she was viewed as the lil blonde, young miss thang, living off of her older man, and even locked him up with two children. She said the stares got to be pretty bad, and a lady even asked her what the “age gap between her and her husband was.” The lady was curious because she said she, herself dated an older man… she then revealed that he was only 4 years older. So basically, she was nosy.

So now, girls and their dads have to put up with the looks thanks to sugar babies. Note: this may have been going on, but it was just brought to my attention, due to the fact that I am a man, and only got asked if my dad was my boyfriend one time, and it was in a gayborhood, so I understand their curiosity. Too much? Good times.
