J-Si’s Blog: Where did he learn that from…

Well, we had a pretty crazy day today. I got home to an empty house. Bio dad is in town with his wife, and Kinsey took them shopping. If you are Mexican, and you go to the US, you better do some shopping. So I took that opportunity to get some rest and get a nice nap in… but for some reason, I couldn’t fall asleep. I was super tired. I wanted to sleep, but I had this weird feeling. I felt that something was wrong. I can honestly say that I have never had this feeling, and I have lost two people who I was extremely close to. On those days, I didn’t get this feeling. I just felt like something was not right, and then I started thinking: what if this is a sign. About 10 minutes of sitting in bed wondering why I felt this way, I heard the door open. I could tell Kinsey came home by herself, and it was Cason’s nap time. The fact that she came home alone didn’t alarm me. My family tends to want to stay at the mall longer, and we give them a few hours to shop on their own. I heard Kinsey put Cason in his crib, and I automatically heard her sniffling. She was crying. She walked into the room, and just said that her mom had been in a car accident and was in the hospital. Don’t worry, she got some injuries, but she will be ok. She will just hang in the hospital for a day or so, to make sure all starts healing well. Just a partially collapsed lung and cracked rib. But my mind was spinning. I seriously had this weird feeling, and something had happened. I am just glad that it was something my mother in law can recover from. We also had another family member injured pretty bad over the weekend. Our uncle was working a race in Mexicali, MX and was hit by one of the racers going 50 mph. He’s still in the hospital recovering. He has some bleeding near the brain, and a pretty bad road rash on his leg, but he should be able to make a full recovery. Two family members within two days of each other, plus our Shanon had her operation last week… and I consider Shanon family, so three family members dealing with hospital stuff. Hopefully that is it for a while. It really is true. When it rains, it pours.

cason-dancingAfter making sure my mother in law didn’t need us to drive down to where she lives, we decided get out of the house and eat. Cason decided to go to the empty part of the restaurant and start his own little dance party. That’s how he rolls. But he did something a lil alarming. I took two videos. The first one he kept it chill, but on the second one, while he was dancing with Kinsey and bio dad, right at the end of the recording, he dropped it down and tried to do what appears to be some twerking. It was slightly shocking, because I think he caught me practicing in the bedroom a couple of weeks ago. Don’t ask why I was practicing… I think I was trying to make Kinsey laugh, or something. Yeah, that’s it. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. Hopefully his twerking phase does not last.
