It’s always fun going to dinner as a third wheel with married couple friends and when it comes time to leave it becomes glaringly obvious that one of these is not like the other. I’m sure this happens all of the time, so I would assume that valet drivers would be accustomed to not offending the person that is about to give them a tip. Leaving dinner on Friday night, I walked out with my married friends and my car got brought around first. For whatever reason, even though I came alone, the valet opened both the driver’s side as well as the passenger side door. There was quite the large crowd gathering waiting to give their tickets and I had no choice but to make the awkward situation even more awkward by shouting…”Nope! It’s JUST ME! JUST me….” At least it got people to laugh.

Before the weekend got going, I went to see Iron Man 3D and I am going to admit that I fell asleep. Mid week narcolepsy seems to be the new theme for me. A huge dinner followed by a 9 pm movie just isn’t something I’m capable of doing. If you’re wondering, the movie was great. A little over the top in terms of the action sequences and sadly Gwyneth Paltrow is not killed off;) I honestly think this one got way to built up and I didn’t like it nearly as much as the first one. Then again, I was dozing off and the 3D glasses are the perfect way to hide the fact that I was sleeping like a grandpa throughout the movie.

The only other big highlight of the weekend was Max’s fresh do. I got him shaved and the mohawk is back. Unfortunately the black dye came out red…ginger pug is back in action!
