- Send a ‘value-giving’ text to someone you have feelings for:
Too often when we like someone we either wait for a message from them, or text them with the hope of getting something in return. Today you are going to send a text purely designed to make the other person feel good. It will have no questions, and no further dialogue is intended.
E.g. “Hi handsome, I hope you had a great start to the week! Can’t wait to see you soon.”
- Work the room like a pro by using the ‘two hit’ method:
Too often we wait for someone we find attractive to show up to the party, then torture ourselves over what to say when we do spot them. Instead you are going to make your interactions far more low key. When someone is close to you, male or female, shoot them a quick glance with your body positioned away from them, and say “hey, hows it going”. Wait for them to say the same, then say “have a great evening!” and walk away. This minor interaction will make it far easier to talk to that person again later, and since it’s so quick to do, you’ll be able to do it with 10 people in the first 30 minutes of being in the venue.
The end result? An hour into the night whilst everyone else is still deciding who to talk to, you already have 10 people in the venue who feel comfortable interacting with you. Meeting the person you find attractive after that will be simple.
- Make yourself a challenge:
This one is easy but effective. The next time you are speaking to someone you find attractive, and they say something you disagree with (e.g. I don’t like ice cream) you say “You don’t like ice cream?! It would never work between us”.
It’s a flirtatious way to disqualify him whilst putting the idea of a relationship in his head. And the fact that you said it wouldn’t work between you makes him want to prove it would.
