At 66, Billy Joel is a second-time father. Just five weeks after marrying 34-year-old Alexis, the couple made this announcement yesterday: “Billy Joel and his wife Alexis, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. Della Rose Joel officially entered the world on Wednesday, August 12th at 2:40AM weighing in at 7 pounds, 6.5 ounces.” Big sister Alexa Ray is 29.
Remember Constantine Maroulis from “American Idol” and “Rock of Ages” on Broadway? He was arrested yesterday after allegedly kicking his now former girlfriend in the groin. Angel Reed told police that Constantine threw her to the ground before kicking her in her private parts. But his rep says Constantine was only acting in self defense after Angel threw things and took a swing at him. The rep said, Constantine then removed himself from the situation, but “sometime later the local police came home and arrested him for domestic abuse.” Reportedly, these two dated for six years and Constantine recently told her he was leaving, which is what caused the fight. They share a 4-year-old daughter.
For whatever reason, Ed Sheeran decided to get a huge lion head tattoo right smack dab in the middle of his chest. I’m talking nipple-to-nipple. He posted a picture of his unfinished artwork on IG Tuesday. He says it’s only halfway done, but he’s obviously proud of it. Reaction, however, has been less than positive. Some are calling it the worst tattoo ever and a “massive eyesore.” Others are begging Ed to reveal that this is just one big joke. But it’s no joke, people. Ed responded, “I like it and that’s the only opinion that matters.” He added, “All this kerfuffle over a tattoo. If it was black and white saying a clever phrase in a language I can’t speak no one would’ve said anything.” He also promised that this won’t be his last tattoo.
Rumors about Rihanna and Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton started a couple weeks ago when they were seen partying together at the Kadooment Day Parade in Barbados on Aug. 3. They were seen together again four days later, hanging out together on a yacht in the Caribbean with a bunch of friends. Whatever is happening between these two is still going on. Tuesday night, they both went to the nightclub 1 Oak in NYC, arriving separately to throw us off, of course. But a source inside the club said Lewis joined Rihanna at her table and they “definitely looked cozy. She was dancing next to him, and he poured most of her drinks.” Again, to throw us off, the two of them finally left separately just minutes apart…..at 4:30 in the morning!!
Lamar Odom ambushed his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian outside her SoulCycle class in Beverly Hills yesterday morning. She looked truly shocked to see him when he walked up demanding that she stop and speak to him. When she refused, Lamar reportedly touched her, causing her to scream, “Get off of me! Get off of me! Stop! Stop!” A passerby asked if Khloe wanted the police to be called, and Lamar yelled, “You’re not calling the cops on Lamar Odom!” Khloe rushed back to her car and left. Lamar later told TMZ that he didn’t ambush Khloe and that she knew he would be there. He said if she doesn’t stand up for him, he’s going to start talking about all he knows!
