Overachieving Behavior

Today’s overachieving teacher is Priscilla Guerrero and she is planning on using the money to reinforce positive behavior! Read what she wrote below.

“I would use part of $500 in student rewards and the other for flexible sitting. Our school is part of PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support). Sometimes teachers have to teach students manners and social behaviors. The rewards will be used to reinforces positive behavior. For those students who are in a behavior plan, I will be checkin in daily basis to monitor behavior and use rewards such as stickers, soccer balls, smencils, etc.”

“This year I have 3 students moving from self-contained classroom to general education. I would like to have flexible seating and calming tools for them.”
