Today’s overachieving teacher is Ashley McDonough and she is planning on using the money to help the students with social and emotional learning! Read what she wrote below.

“I am a Guidance Counselor for our elementary campus in San Angelo, Texas. In February we celebrate kindness month. I am hoping to create a Kindness Rock Project for our school. This would be to give a lesson on Kindness throughout the school, get pebble rocks for all approximately 475 students, and decorate the rocks to share with another student who needs the kind words or keep it for themselves when they are needing the kind words and thoughts for the day. This project will help with students Social and Emotional learning in school which is a key part of their growth in school.”
