Today’s overachieving principal is Regina Stewman and she is planning on using the money to purchase newly released books for the mobile library! Read what she wrote about her school below.

“During the summer months we drive a donated mini van through a planned route in our attendance area to help prevent the summer reading slump. We know that students need access, choice, and time to read. This also allows the teachers to check up on students and families as well as continue to build relationships. Our teachers take turns to run this route, which goes throughout the summer. We love having our previous students come find us. This $500 would allow us to purchase newly released books for the mobile library, which has not been updated in about 2 years.”
