Today’s overachieving teacher is Rhonda Peters and she is planning on using the money to purchase items to help my students with parenting needs! Read what she wrote about her class below.

“I do not have a classroom. I see the students at their homes. I have a unique job in that I work with pregnant and parenting students teaching life skills and tutoring them after deliver so they do not fall behind in their school work. I would use the funds to purchase items to help my students with parenting needs. Diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, and other baby items. I know this is not what you would expect in a school setting but it is what my students need. A dual role of parent and student is not easy. This program helps the students succeed, making graduation a reality.”
