ABC Family gets a new name… Will Smith on tour with DJ Jazzy Jeff?… Keanu Reeves joins Neiman Marcus… Chloe Goins files lawsuit against Bill Cosby… and Rihanna defends Rachel Dolezal for identifying as black
ABC Family admits it. For over a decade, they haven’t been focusing on families. They’re focused on young viewers between the ages of 14 and 34. It’s an age group known as the “becomers.” Who knew? And to keep attracting more “becomers,” ABC Family is changing its name to Freeform starting in January.
Will Smith is not only returning to music for the first time in over a decade, he’s going on a world tour! Will says once he made his mind up, he got into the studio and he’s been there every day since. In fact, he has about 30 songs already recorded. And he feels pretty certain that he’ll be touring next summer….with DJ JAZZY JEFF!! He said that back in the day, they never did a full tour because he was always too busy with “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” or making a movie. So why not now!
Keanu Reeves was in Dallas yesterday for the unveiling of the 89th annual Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. Why would Keanu be there? Because he’s one of the luxury presents! For $150K, you get a 3-night stay in a suite at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica which includes breakfast with Keanu. And then Keanu will take you on a motorcycle tour of the Santa Monica mountains and end the day at a beachside cafe in Malibu. The next day, you and Keanu will cruise around the Angeles Crest National Forest, have a little lunch, and then take a final ride before you bid your goodbyes.

Yesterday, 24-year-old model Chloe Goins filed a lawsuit against Bill Cosby for punitive damages, including “mental anguish, loss of self-esteem and dignity.” Chloe claims that in 2008 — when she was only 18 and hanging out at the Playboy Mansion — Bill gave her something to drink and it caused her to black out. When she woke up, she says she was naked on a bed and Bill was biting her toes.
Rihanna talks about anything and everything in her new Vanity Fair interview. For instance, Rihanna actually supports Rachel Dolezal — the white woman who identified as black and was a leader in the NAACP. She said Rachel is “a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit. Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.”
