Jessica Alba founded The Honest Company 12 years ago, which is currently valued at $363M. But in a surprise move, Jessica announced yesterday that she’s stepping down from her leadership role as Chief Creative Officer, adding, “However, I will continue to provide strategic advice through my role on the board.” She continued, “Building Honest has been a true labor of love. From the first concept book I pitched to my friends in Mommy and Me class, to ringing the bell at Nasdaq with my family by my side – this journey has been the ride of a lifetime, one that only existed in my wildest dreams…”

George Clooney and Rande Gerber made a fortune with the sale of their Casamigos tequila. Rande’s wife Cindy Crawford decided she wanted to get in on the action, and now she’s launching her own brand! Introducing Casamigas Jalapeño! As her husband Rande said, “Cindy has obviously been part of the Casamigos journey since day one, and I’m excited that she now gets to put her special touches on Casamigas.” Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico, and it’s naturally flavored with jalapeños to give it that spicy kick.

Renée Zellweger is on board for Bridget Jones 4! Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is based on the novel of the same name. We’re not sure how closely the movie will stick to the book, but in the story, Bridget adds tweets and texts to her diary as she navigates life as a widowed single mother. Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson are also returning for the sequel, along with new cast members Chiwetel Ejiofor from 12 Years a Slave and Leo Woodall from Season 2 of The White Lotus. Mad About the Boy premieres on Peacock next Valentine’s Day.

Game of Thrones ended with the exiled Jon Snow riding into the Haunted Forest with his direwolf Ghost and the Wildlings to begin a new life. Many fans assumed the spinoff series would pick up with Jon Snow’s new adventures, and Kit Harington was thinking along those same lines, too. In 2022 it was reported that this was actually happening! And Kit was on board! But while promoting his new movie Blood for Dust, Kit told ScreenRant that a Jon Snow spinoff is no longer in development with HBO. Kit said he and his team just “couldn’t find the right story to tell that we were all excited about enough. So, we decided to lay down tools with it for the time being. There may be a time in the future where we return to it, but at the moment, no. It’s firmly on the shelf.”

Nominations for the 2024 CMA Awards have been announced. Luke Combs leads the pack with eight, followed by Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen with six. Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson are all tied with five nominations each. For the fifth straight year, Luke is up for both Male Artist of the Year and the big one, Entertainer of the Year. Jelly Roll is up for both of those, too, along with Single of the Year for Need a Favor and Music Event of the Year for Save Me featuring Lainey Wilson. Lainey is the only female artist up for Entertainer of the Year. Joining her, Luke and Jelly Roll in that category are Kane Brown, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen. Winners will be announced on May 16 when the CMA Awards are broadcast live on CBS from the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas.
