Liam Payne loves NFTs so much, he started a Twitter account just to talk about it. He’s keeping his original account. This is completely separate. In less than 24 hours, Liam’s already gotten over 60K followers. Are they all interested in non-fungible tokens or just hoping he’ll slip in some One Direction niblets from time to time? Either way, if you want to follow along, Liam’s second Twitter handle is @PaynoEth. His first tweets were, “WELCOME! This is the start of something new for me which is always exciting. Come with me on this crazy NFT journey as I share more with what’s going on in my world.” And, “For those wondering about my new display picture, it’s my new @doodles piece that I got last week! So cool, right?!”

Janet Jackson’s highly anticipated new tell-all documentary will premiere this Friday on Lifetime / A&E. There have been a few documentaries about Janet recently, but this one is straight from Janet herself. One source said this documentary is being kept so tightly under wraps that the network hasn’t even seen the complete version yet. However, word is that Janet’s documentary features a HUGE surprise guest — Justin Timberlake! It’s been 18 years since Janet’s infamous “wardrobe malfunction” during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show. After the incident, Janet’s career took a big hit, but Justin’s took off. When he headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2018, Justin reportedly asked Janet to perform with him. Obviously, she didn’t. We’ll see what he has to say when the documentary premieres on Friday.

Kim Kardashian is no longer on speaking terms with Kanye West, but according to him, he was her hero not too long ago. Kanye claims that because of him, part two of Kim’s sex tape with Ray J never saw the light of day. Back in September 2021, Ray J’s former manager Wack 100 claimed that he had “part two” of that tape, and that it was “more graphic and better” than the first one that was leaked. He then offered it to Kanye so he could sell it as an NFT!! He said, “I would never give it to anybody but Kanye. That’s the mother of his children.” Kim’s attorney quickly shot that down, saying this guy was just desperate for attention. Was Kim REALLY that confident there was no more footage? Kanye for sure wasn’t. He told “Hollywood Unlocked,” “I went and got the laptop from Ray J myself that night. I met this man at the airport, then got on a red-eye, came back [and] delivered it to her at 8 a.m. in the morning.” Kanye said Kim was so relieved that she broke down in tears. He said it was “because it represents how much she’s been used. It represents how much people didn’t love her, and they just saw her as a commodity.” And a source told Page Six that this is truly what happened. Kim was “very emotional” and “truly grateful” to Kanye for getting the laptop back. The source said, “The tape caused her a lot of pain and continues to haunt her to this day. Even though they are no longer together as a couple, they remain aligned with the same concerns about how this content that continues to be used against her will affect their four young kids in the future.” Now that this story is out there, Kim’s spokesperson released a statement saying, “The computer and hard drive collected were supposed to contain the original video and any unseen footage. After review, there was nothing sexual unseen, only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip. Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists. After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter [and] focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform.”

Yesterday we told you that a jury awarded Cardi B $1.25M in her libel lawsuit against YouTube blogger Tasha K, but we were waiting to find out the punitive damages. The jurors have now awarded Cardi almost $3M MORE, bringing g the total to more than $4M. Tasha K’s attorney will be filing an appeal. Cardi released a statement saying, “I thought I would never be heard or vindicated and I felt completely helpless and vulnerable. I have never taken for granted the platform that my fame allows me to have, which is why for over three years I dedicated every resource I had to seek justice.” She went on to say, “The only difference between me and the high schooler who is being cyberbullied and lied on by their classmates is the money and resources I have access to. We collectively have to say enough is enough. We can no longer be a society that turns a blind eye to blatant lies. The unchecked behavior and provably false content on platforms like YouTube have to be addressed and removed. The constant harassment and lies that are reported as factual from journalists and bloggers have to end…So while I am very grateful that this trial has come to its conclusion and the jury has rendered a powerful and substantial message, literally–I really hope that my experience forces all of us, but especially the platforms who allow this behavior to be a part of their communities, to re-think what moves us forward as a society versus what cripples us.”

Each day more and more sources are providing new reasons Adele postponed her Las Vegas residency at the last minute, and COVID seems to be the least likely cause. The latest rumor is that there is trouble in paradise between Adele and Rich Paul, her sports agent boyfriend of six months. A source said, “Adele’s been crying and couldn’t get through a single full rehearsal for the past month. Just constantly on the phone with Rich … loudly shouting and sobbing. She has barely rehearsed because she is constantly in the middle of an emotional shootout.” After making the tearful announcement that her show “ain’t ready,” Adele reportedly took a private jet to LA and went straight to Rich’s house, where she’s been holed up ever since. But insiders are now worried she will cancel the Vegas residency for good because of her relationship issues.
