Drake tweeted yesterday, “Honored to be this year’s @ESPYS host @espn 7.16.2014.” TMZ is reporting that he really campaigned for the gig, pulling out his hosting resume for the producers. In 2011, Drake hosted the Juno Awards in Canada and earlier this season, he hosted “Saturday Night Live.” He did a great job doing both and producers gave Drake the gig. He is VERY passionate about sports and is so excited about this gig that he’s already rehearsing, dedicating several days a week prepping for the gig. The ESPYs are held each year the day after the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, so this year the ESPYs are on July 16.

Page Six is reporting that Gwyneth Paltrow didn’t want to go public with her “conscious uncoupling” from Chris Martin. She wanted to keep up the ruse that their marriage was fine, but Chris is the one who said he was tired of pretending. However, Chris wanted to wait and make the announcement after the new Coldplay album comes out in May. Gwyneth pulled the trigger early, though, and it seems to have backfired on her. She’s upset because all the blame for the breakup is being put on her.

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Joe and Teresa Giudice may be facing jail time, but it looks like they’ve found their way out of bankruptcy. TMZ found out that the couple will erase more than $13 million in debt by writing a $7500 check to their creditors. How the heck work??? Meantime, Teresa is expected to get 21 to 27 months in prison while Joe is looking at about 46 months and possible deportation for bank fraud.

The wedding is off! Big Sean called off his engagement to “Glee” star and Kim Kardashian doppleganger Naya Rivera, and it’s not exactly amicable. Sean’s rep told “Us Weekly” that recent rumors and accusations aren’t true, apparently referring to rumors that Sean cheated on Naya. Sources told TMZ that the reason Sean called off the wedding is because he thought Naya was too controlling and too jealous of the women he worked with and met on tour. We do know that Naya tweeted and then deleted this comment: “@bigsean stealing rolexes from a lady’s house now. Maybe cuz I’m on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin.”

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber — are they together again or what? Justin waist the studio working with his 15-year-old protege, Madison Beer, and Selena decided to pop by and check on how things were going. But it turns out, Justin and Selena are also working on a duet together called “Unfamiliar.” Reportedly, Justin and Selena left the recording studio about 3am and went back to his hotel room where Selena spent the night.
