‘Bachelorette’ Frontrunner Jed Wyatt Speaks Out

FaceApp released a statement… Javier Bardem’s new gig… Self-submitted Emmy nominations… Post Malone’s new company… and ‘Bachelorette’ frontrunner Jed Wyatt speaks out

Everybody went crazy nuts playing with the FaceApp that makes you look 50 years older, but then there were reports coming out that the Russians are behind the app and they’re using it to access our personal information and then everybody started panicking. Well, Russians did create the app. But the creators released a statement saying, “All FaceApp features are available without logging in, and you can log in only from the settings screen. As a result, 99% of users don’t log in; therefore, we don’t have access to any data that could identify a person. We don’t sell or share any user data with any third parties. Even though the core R&D team is located in Russia, the user data is not transferred to Russia.” They also say that while most images are deleted from their servers within 48 hours of the upload date, they do accept requests from users for removing all their data from their servers. To do that, you send in your request from the FaceApp mobile app using “Settings->Support->Report a bug” with the word “privacy” in the subject line.

We’ve got Ariel, Scuttle and Flounder — that’s Halle Bailey, Awkwafina and Jacob Tremblay. We MAY have Prince Eric and Ursula — which would be Harry Styles and Melissa McCarthey. But there are other big roles in “The Little Mermaid” to be cast! Javier Bardem is in talks to play King Triton. And there are small roles to be cast, too! In fact, if you have some time to kill, go to Twitter and type “auditioning Harry” in the search bar.

This week, “Game of Thrones” earned 32 Emmy Nominations. Typically, a network will submit a handful of cast members to be considered for a nomination, but with such a huge cast, HBO could only get behind a handful of the actors. So three actors decided to take matters into their own hands. Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) and Carice van Houten (Melisandre) each paid the required $225 entry fee and got their nominations all on their own!

Post Malone has partnered up with Mario “Mr. Sherbinski” Guzman and Icon Farms to launch American Grown Hemp. Back in May, Posty announced he was forming a hemp and cannabis company called Shaboink, but now he’s partnering with the man known as “The Louis Vuitton of Marijuana.” The first products American Grown Hemp plans to roll out will be individually wrapped pre-rolls. They will be tobacco- and nicotine-free and will only contain trace amounts of THC, which is that psychoactive stuff in marijuana.

When Jed Wyatt’s ex-girlfriend told People magazine that they were still very much in a relationship and in love when he left her to go on “The Bachelorette,” the poo hit the fan on social media. But according to Chris Harrison, Jed will have a chance to share his truth on the upcoming finale and on the “After the Final Rose” live special. Meantime, Jed went on Instagram to ask people to please stop with the threatening letters and phone calls and verbally attacking attacking his parents and sister in public. He said, “I beg you to remember what seems like a harmless action is damaging to real people.”
