In TV news, Ryan Murphy is creating a new medical drama series for ABC starring the increasingly dreamy Joshua Jackson. This won’t be Joshua’s first time playing doctor. He starred in Peacock’s Dr. Death, based on the hit podcast about a Texas neurosurgeon who injured or killed 33 patients in less than 2 years. Joshua will also be in the Karate Kid reboot starring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan. And E! is launching a new design competition show next month called OMG Fashun, hosted by Julia Fox and stylist Law Roach, who retired from styling celebrities last year except for one client, Zendaya. In each episode, three designers — or “disruptors” — will create a design for their “ultimate muse,” Julia Fox. The press release says, “Using materials and techniques that would make fashion’s so-called gatekeepers squirm, the contestants must race against the clock to compose and style their unconventional ensembles for the judging panel. The disruptor with the most eye-catching, unexpected and cutting-edge look is crowned the winner of the competition.” And that winner will get $10K cash AND the honor of having Julia model their design. The first two episodes drop May 6, with a new episode every Monday.

First Richard Simmons had everyone freaked out because he posted on Facebook that he was dying. Then he came back to clarify that he’s not literally dying — even though we are ALL literally dying — he was trying to inspire us to live every day to the fullest. But then Richard got all his followers upset when he revealed that he had skin cancer. Richard posted that he noticed a strange-looking bump under his right eye and the doctor diagnosed it as basal cell carcinoma. Richard said it took two visits for the doctor to burn off the cancer cells, but they got it all. He wanted to use his experience to warn others, posting, “I know some of you reading this have had cancer or have known someone in your life who has had cancer. Promise me you will see your doctor and get a complete checkup.” But when people started freaking out in the comments, just like his post about dying, Richard had to come back and clarify that his cancer scare happened YEARS ago! He said, “I guess I should be more careful about what I write about.”

Michael Jordan couldn’t be more pleased. His son Marcus and Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa have broken up again. We first found out there was trouble on Super Bowl Sunday when Larsa unfollowed Marcus on Instagram and then posted a poll asking, “Should your friends unfollow your ex?” But then by Valentine’s Day, Larsa called paparazzi to photograph her and Marcus walking around with her wearing what looked like a slinky version of a wedding dress and what could’ve been mistaken for an engagement ring. But now just over a month later, Entertainment Tonight was first to report that they’re done, this time for good. Their source said Larsa is now “looking for someone who is motivated like her.”

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly called off their engagement last year. Megan was a guest on the Call Her Daddy podcast that dropped yesterday and she’s not really dishing much about that. Megan said she’s learned that her relationship with Colson is not for public consumption. She said, “I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption. I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se….What I can say is he’s what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what.” But a source told Us Weekly that Megan and MGK are living separately while working through their issues. She’s living in Malibu and he’s been staying at the couple’s home in Encino. The source said, “They did this arrangement to give each other some space while still being together.” The source says their relationship changes every day and right now, it’s actually at a low point. The source claims Megan has even been asking friends to set her up with other people.
