For the ultimate “Seinfeld” fan, get ready for “Seinfeld: The Official Cookbook.” The book comes out Oct. 11, but you can pre-order now for $35. As the description on Amazon says, “For a show about ‘nothing’ one constant throughout Seinfeld’s nine seasons is food! Jerry, Elaine, Kramer, George, and the whole gang are always talking about food, shopping for food, or grabbing a bite in Monk’s coffee shop! There are contemplations on the black and white cookie, the Big Salad, proper (or improper) shrimp cocktail etiquette, an irresistible soup stand, lobster revenge omelets, the proper ranking of babka varieties, mouthwatering mackinaw peaches, and so much more. Now these culinary comedy classics are celebrated with a variety of recipes that will help any Seinfeld fan relive their favorite moments.” So the cookbook features over 60 recipes, including George’s Bedroom Pastrami, where George “combined food and sex into one disgusting, uncontrollable urge.” There’s also a recipe for Elaine’s Mulligatawny Soup and Mrs. Choates’ Marble Rye — fishhook not included.

In streaming news, “iCarly” has been renewed for Season 3 on Paramount+, but this will mark its ninth season overall. The original ran on Nickelodeon between 2007-2012. Season 3 will drop in 2023. But you only have to wait a couple more weeks for “I Am Groot” to debut on Disney+. Baby Groot is getting his own series, and people who’ve seen it say it’s super cute. “I Am Groot” is a series of 5 original shorts, and it drops on Aug. 10. Then on Aug. 12, it’s the Season 3 premiere of “Never Have I Ever” on Netflix. And Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s son Deacon Phillippe makes his acting debut on the series, guest-starring as a character named Parker.

First Kylie Jenner was labeled a “climate criminal” after her private jet flew for a 17-minute trip that would’ve only taken 45 minutes by car. Now it’s Drake’s turn. He’s being slammed after his private jet took several super short flights. On June 17, there was a 16-minute flight; on June 28, a 14-minute flight; and on July 12, an 18-minute flight…But unlike Kylie, Drake is explaining the reason behind these super short flights. He posted several headlines about his environmental offenses, and then explained, “This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics…nobody takes that flight.” But just because no passengers were on board, that doesn’t make it less harmful for the does that really make it better?

A week after Shawn Mendes’ world tour started in early July, he announced he was suspending it for three weeks to take some time for his mental health. Yesterday, he announced he’s canceling the whole thing. Shawn said in a statement, “I started this tour excited to finally get back to playing live after a long break due to the pandemic, but the reality is I was not at all ready for how difficult touring would be after this time away. After speaking more with my team and working with an incredible group of health professionals, it has become more clear that I need to take the time I’ve never taken personally, to ground myself and come back stronger. I unfortunately have to cancel the rest of the tour dates in North America, and the UK/Europe.” Even though he won’t be touring, Shawn said, “This doesn’t mean I won’t be making new music, and I can’t wait to see you on tour in the future.”

Two days before it was supposed to drop around the world, someone in France posted a picture holding Beyonce’s “Renaissance” CD. And lightning fast, the music was leaked online. The Beyhive is furious, saying if Beyonce wants us to wait till midnight Thursday, then we wait till midnight Thursday. As one fan posted on Instagram, “It’s been 6 years. 2 more days, only 30 hours left to wait and y’all can’t do it?!?! You’re telling me you can wait 6 years, but not 30 (BLANK) hours. Insane. It’s disrespectful to Beyoncé and her hard hard work. Two years of it.” The fan went on to explain to the rest of us that the release date and time was chosen so everyone could stream it together, and begged TRUE fans to wait until the official release date to “experience a Rebirth together.”
