If you are a fan of the Bachelor franchise and all the spinoffs, you may be invested in Clare Crawley’s search for love. She seemed to have finally found it on the “Bachelor Winter Games” when Benoit fell instantly in love with her, which she couldn’t handle, and then he left the house, only to come back and propose to her at the wrap up show. Well, here we are two months later… and the engagement is off. They released a statement saying they believed in love and wanted to give it a chance, but it just didn’t work.
Steven Spielberg has been a very outspoken supporter of the Time’s Up campaign for gender equality in Hollywood. Recently he was being interviewed about the fifth Indiana Jones movie that is set to begin filming next April and it will be Harrison Ford’s last film as Indiana Jones. He was asked if a woman could be the next Indiana and he said “We’d have to change the name from Jones to Joan. And there would be nothing wrong with that.”
Jared Leto was supposed to hitchhike from NY to LA to promote the release of the new Thirty Seconds to Mars album, that that plan got tweaked a little. Instead, he’s being flown to big cities to do some promotional stunts. Earlier this week, he was at Texas Motor Speedway and did some laps with driver Tyler Reddick in a hot pink, custom-wrapped stock car promoting Jared’s new album. Jared joked to everybody that he wanted to take the car home with him and park it in his living room, but it turns out he wasn’t kidding. He really wants it!

Earlier this week UFC President Dana White announced Conor McGregor was being stripped of his UFC lightweight championship because he hasn’t fought in a UFC match since November 2016. That made Conor angry…..and nobody likes Conor when he’s angry. He crashed an event promoting a big fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this weekend and attacked a bus carrying several UFC fighters. The whole thing was caught on video. Conor threw a dolly through the bus window, causing the glass to shatter and injuring several people in the bus. In fact, because of cuts to his face that left him in the hospital, Michael Chiesa won’t be able to fight this weekend. Conor turned himself in to police and now faces charges of assault and criminal mischief.

Coachella is coming up the next two weekends, and it may seem like Beyonce and Cardi B are the only two performing because that’s really the only two anybody is talking about. Beyonce is making good for missing out last year because she was pregnant with her twins, Rumi and Sir. TMZ is reporting that Beyonce has been putting in 11-hour rehearsal days and that JUST THIS WEEK, she decided her show wasn’t big enough. So here at almost the last minute, she’s decided to go from about a dozen backup dancers to 100! And of course everybody’s signed a non-disclosure so we don’t know what they’re going to try to do with that. TMZ says the execs at Beyonce’s record company don’t even what’s going on. And perhaps Cardi B will use Coachella to announce — finally! — that she’s about 7 months pregnant. Other acts performing over the two weekends include The Weeknd, SZA, Post Malone, Migos, Portugal the Man, Miguel, Tyler the Creator, Haim……and that’s just to name a FEW.
