In record-setting news, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) concert film is 3.5 hours long. In its first three days of streaming on Disney+, it was viewed for 16.2M hours. That translates into 4.6M views, which makes it the No.1 music film ever on the platform. And Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ is officially the best-selling song of all time. The Recording Industry Association of America has given the iconic song Double Diamond status, meaning it’s sold 20M units since it was released in October of 1981. The song was certified Gold back in 2005, which meant it had sold 500K copies. That’s the same year the song was featured on the premiere episode MTV’s Laguna Beach. Then in 2007, the song was featured in The Sopranos finale. And in 2009, this little show called Glee released their version of Don’t Stop Believin.’ All of that certainly helped! The song was written by Steve Perry, Jonathan Cain and Neil Schon and I would LOVE to know how much they all made off of that thing….

Conor McGregor has been busy promoting his first ever movie role in Road House, which is a remake of the 1989 cult classic starring Patrick Swayze. In a since deleted X post, Conor said, “What did you think of my acting debut movie trailer? Hell of a ride! I am now officially the highest-paid first-time actor of all time, on record, topping Dwayne Johnson for the top spot. Incredible!” Back in 2001, The Rock was paid $5.5M for his debut role in The Mummy Returns, which earned him a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. But I can’t find anything online about what Conor was paid for his debut movie role, so we’ll have to wait and see if Guinness updates their records to prove him right. In the remake, Jake Gyllenhaal takes over the role originated by Patrick. He plays Dalton — a former UFC fighter turned bouncer who leads a security crew at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys. Conor plays the role of a villain named Knox.

In a new Rolling Stone exposé, five people have come forward to accuse RuPaul’s Drag Race star Shangela of sexual assault. The alleged incidents took place between 2012 and 2018, when the accusers would’ve been between the ages of 18 and 23. All of the alleged victims said they were award of Shangela’s celebrity status, and all said they were too drunk to consent to what allegedly happened to them. This isn’t the first time Shangela — whose real name is Darius Jeremy Pierce — has been accused of sexual assault. Last year, a production assistant on the HBO reality series We’re Here filed a police report and civil lawsuit against the drag star, accusing him of rape.

The Met Gala is a little over 6 weeks away, but the entire list of attendees is kept top secret until the night before the event. Even though she hasn’t been since 2016, a lot of Taylor Swift’s fans think they’ve picked up on a clue that she will be there this year. Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Taylor’s longtime stylist Joseph Cassell followed — and has apparently since unfollowed — a Met Gala fan account which posted a partial guest list for this year’s Gala. Taylor’s name is on the list, along with Wendy, Margot Robbie, Jenna Ortega, Billie Eilish, Kim Kardashian, Bad Bunny, Jessica Chastain, Sydney Sweeney and Lana Del Rey.

Yesterday, Beyoncé started the 10 day countdown to the release of her Cowboy Carter album, which drops on Good Friday, March 29th. She started her Instagram post by thanking everyone for blowing up her first two singles, Texas Hold ‘Em and 16 Carriages. Then Beyoncé said, “I feel honored to be the first Black woman with the number one single on the Hot Country Songs chart….My hope is that years from now, the mention of an artist’s race, as it relates to releasing genres of music, will be irrelevant.” She went on to explain, “This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history.” Beyoncé promises some surprise collaborations, and many are hoping that includes Taylor Swift! Then she concludes by reminding us all, “This ain’t a Country album. This is a ‘Beyoncé’ album….”
