Paris Hilton got engaged to some Chris Zylka guy who says he’s a model and an actor. I looked up his resume. It’s mostly recurring roles and guest appearances on shows like “Hannah Montana” and “Cougar Town.” He apparently was on that HBO series “The Leftovers” and has upcoming projects including “Shark Night 3D” and “Piranha 3D.” So my question is, how can he afford a $2 million engagement ring??? The jeweler who designed it told TMZ that Chris came to see him about designing the perfect engagement ring back over the summer, and it took four months to cut this 22-carat thing! And when Chris was finally able to pick it up, the jeweler said he was literally shaking. Paris posted, “I said Yas! 👰🏼💅🏼💍💎 So happy & excited to be engaged to the love of my life. My best friend & soulmate…” This would be Paris’ third soulmate. She’s been engaged twice before — first to model Jason Shaw and then to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis.
Hoda Kotb may have taken Matt Lauer’s old seat, but she ain’t taking his old paycheck. NBC sources say Hoda’s deal is $7 million a year — the same that her co-host Savannah Guthrie makes. That would be $18 million less per year than Matt took home. Now, Matt had been there for 25 years, but STILL. Plus, when Megyn Kelly jumped over from FOX, her deal was reportedly around $20 million per year to host just one hour every morning. Hoda is hosting for THREE.
Taylor Swift loves to surprise her fans with gifts, but she took it to another level when Taylor helped one of her fans buy a HOME. This woman named Stephanie shared the story on Taylor’s new “Swift Life” app. She explained that a couple years ago, the apartment building where she’d been living was condemned for health and safety reasons and — long story short — she ended up being homeless for 8 months of her pregnancy. Stephanie’s mom reached out to Taylor, who ended up inviting her backstage to her show in Manchester, England. That’s when Stephanie says Taylor told her, “You’ve been in my life for a long time and you’ve never asked me for anything. You could have reached out and I would have helped you. But you didn’t. (Your) mum told me.” And that’s when Taylor gave her enough money to buy a home and all the things she needed for her baby girl!!
Selena Gomez started off her New Year’s celebration with her annual girls trip to Cabo. But a couple of days in, Justin Bieber flew in and rented a place a few minutes away. He and Selena rang in 2018 together and ended up flying back home together on a private jet. But something happened in the sky because sources told The Blast that it looked like Justin and Selena were arguing when they landed and parted ways without hugging or kissing goodbye.
I don’t know why this was such a shocker for me to find out, but Chip and Joanna Gaines are expecting another baby! They posted a picture on Instagram yesterday with both of their bellies poking out. Chip captioned it, “Gaines party of 7 .. (if you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT) @joannagaines.” After he posted that, Chip followed that up with this tweet: “…You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco. And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber.”
