CBS has canceled “Mike & Molly” and Melissa McCarthy is very upset about it. You’d think she’d be ready to put TV behind her and concentrate on her movie career, but that’s far from the case. She tweeted yesterday, “I was shocked and heartbroken when @CBS canceled #MikeAndMolly. I would have shot this show for 50 more years. I’ll miss my 2nd family.” The show will return on January 6 with only 13 episodes for its sixth and final season.
For whatever reason, they still don’t want us to know they’re dating, but Katie Holmes was there to surprise Jamie Foxx for his 48th birthday this weekend. Katie along with Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson surprised Jamie with a party at Le Bilboquet in NYC Saturday night. Jamie and Katie reportedly have been secretly dating for 2 years now. A source told Us Weekly she’ll put on a wig and a hat to go meet him at hotels.
Bill Cosby is firing back by suing seven of the women who’ve accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting them. In the defamation lawsuit filed Monday, it states, “Mr. Cosby states plainly that he neither drugged nor sexually assaulted the defendants and that each defendant has maliciously and knowingly published multiple false statements and accusations from Fall 2014 through the current day in an effort to cause damage to Mr. Cosby’s reputation and to extract financial gains.” These seven women have joined together in a defamation suit against Bill Cosby in federal court in Massachusetts, which is where he lives. That lawsuit was filed originally last year by three accusers. This is the largest of the half dozen civil lawsuits filed against Bill in recent months.
Kourtney Kardashian may be hooking up with Justin Bieber and slinking out of his hotel room braless at 4am, but she’s still a good mommy, dang it! And yesterday she took her sons Mason and Reign to Disneyland to celebrate their shared birthday. Kanye tagged along with North and Kris Jenner brought her boyfriend, Corey Gamble. But Mason and Reign’s daddy Scott Disick was a no show.
Page Six is reporting that Christina Aguilera was a boozy Grinch at Seth MacFarlane’s annual Christmas party in Beverly Hills Friday night. Seth spared no expense. Guests entered through a giant snow globe that doubled as a photo booth and there was an open bar with vintage crystal from the 1940s and an “ugly sweater workshop.” Seth even hired a 50-piece orchestra and invited his celebrity guests to come up onstage with him to sing Frank Sinatra. Meghan Trainor got up there. Katherine McPhee and Bill Maher got up there. But Christina Aguilera refused to budge. In fact, sources say that from the stage, Seth asked her five times to come up and sing with him but she refused. A witness say it may be because she was wasted. In fact, the source says that her fiancé Matt Rutler had to help her wobble out of the party and she almost fell into a Christmas tree.
