I was so had to hear this morning that former Saturday Night Live star Jan Hooks passed away at the age of 57. Apparently she had been sick from some time but the cause of death has not been disclosed. Jan was part of a magical time on SNL, starring with a cast including Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Kevin Nealon, Dennis Miller, Nora Dunn, and the late Phil Hartman and Chris Farley. She nailed impersonations of celebrities like Sinead O’Connor, Hillary Clinton and Tammy Faye Bakker. One of her fellow SNL cast members, Jon Lovitz, issued a statement: “This is very, very sad news about Jan. She was easily one of the best comedic actresses to be on SNL. Whenever she and Phil Hartman worked together, it was magic. As Jim and Tammy Faye Baker on ‘Church Chat’ with Dana Carvey, the three of them created one of the best sketches, ever, in the history of SNL. She was terrific to work with and a very, very nice person. I will miss her very much. Peace and prayers to her family and friends.”

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been super secretive about their baby girl, but FINALLY we have a name. She is Esmerelda Amada Gosling. We don’t know if there’s some special meaning behind their daughter’s chosen name, but we do know that Esmerelda was the name of Eva’s character in the 1999 Pamela Anderson TV show, “V.I.P.” And then in 2007, Eva starred in the movie “We Own the Night” and her character’s name was Amada.

Are Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez headed for divorce? The National Enquirer says all the signs point to yes. The couple was married in July of last year and their baby boy, Maceo, was born in October. Halle and Olivier haven’t been seen together since. And a source told the Enquirer that Olivier has been staying at his home in Malibu while Halle’s been staying in her Hollywood Hills home. The source says, “They’re just delaying the inevitable split. It looks like Olivier will soon be history.”

After seven months of separation, Paula Patton decided it was finally time to file for divorce from Robin Thicke and now we know why! Paula bought herself a new bachelorette pad and moved her new boyfriend in with her! He is Zak Waters and he’s a musician who’s about to co-headline a tour with French Born Rebellion at the end of the month. A close friend of Paula’s told RadarOnline.com that the couple is very happy and that “he treats her how she deserves to be treated.”

An internet model from Arizona named Shaye G was checking out TMZ and read about a Houston stripper named Jhonni Blaze who claimed that after she hooked up with Drake, the people in his camp began harassing her with threatening texts and phone calls. That’s when Shaye decided to go to police with her story. Shaye claims that Drake texted her last week after she posted some photos of expensive purses he bought for her. She says Drake threatened that if he saw her anywhere, she was “getting run up outta there.” She called her daddy and Daddy called up Drake and told him to back off. But after Shaye saw Jhonni’s story, she called the police, who are now investigating.
