The finalists for the National Toy Hall of Fame Class of 2021 have been announced. On Nov. 4, only three of them will be formally inducted so make your vote count at ToyHallofFame.org. In the running this year:

Earlier this week, it was announced that Wendy Williams had tested positive for a breakthrough case of Covid, but now we’re finding out she’s been taken to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. A spokesperson for the NYPD told Page Six that they received a call a Tuesday morning asking for an ambulance to come to Wendy’s address and pick up a 57-year-old woman living there. They wouldn’t identify the person, but obviously, that was Wendy. A source told Page Six that Wendy is lonely and the health struggles made it worse. The source said, “It has been a very difficult time for Wendy. She’s a single woman with very few friends. She lost her marriage, her mom, and is living alone. There is a lot on her plate.” Because of all this, Monday’s premiere of Wendy’s talk show has been pushed back to Oct. 20.

It’s been decided that Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will host “Jeopardy!” for the rest of the year while they continue to look for a permanent host. But if LeVar Burton’s fans are still pushing for him to get the gig, stop. LeVar was on “The Daily Show” last night and said, at first, he did want the job, but that’s no longer the case. He told Trevor Noah, “They say be careful of what you wish for, because what I found out is that it wasn’t the thing that I wanted after all. What I wanted was to compete. I mean, I wanted the job, right, but then, when I didn’t get it, it was, like, well, okay, what’s next? And, so, the opportunities that have come my way as a result of not getting that gig, I couldn’t have dreamt it up.” He said that may include hosting a totally different game show, but it won’t be Jeopardy!

Earlier this summer, Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus shared with his fans that he’d been diagnosed with cancer. During a live Twitch, Mark said, “My classification is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma Stage 4-A, which means, as I understand it, it’s entered four different parts of my body. I don’t know how exactly they determine the four-part of it, but it’s entered enough parts of my body that I’m Stage 4, which I think is the highest that it goes. So, I’m Stage 4-A.” Since then, Mark has been undergoing grueling chemotherapy treatments, but on Wednesday he tweeted, “Today I’m grateful to not be going in for chemotherapy. It’s been three weeks since my last treatment. Normally I’d be going in today. ‘Normally.’ Damn. Getting pumped full of poison every three weeks is my normal. On the 29th I get scanned and will know if it worked.” Let’s pray that he gets great news that day.

Ed Sheeran’s next album comes out in October. In keeping with all the math symbols, this one is called “=.” And yesterday, Ed announced he’ll be kicking off a stadium world tour to support it. He’s calling it the “Mathematics” tour, or “+ – = ÷ x,” which are the math symbols used for his last five albums. The tour kicks off in May, but so far Ed’s only announced his European dates. The US dates are coming soon. Ed said on social media that this tour “is the start of the next 3 years of my life.” That sounds like a lot, but Ed’s last tour was two and half years long. He performed 260 shows and set a couple world records — highest grossing tour ($776M) and most tickets sold (8.7M).
