Gone are the days of secrecy on “The Bachelor” franchise. We knew Rachel Lindsay was going to be the next Bachelorette weeks before Nick Viall eliminated her…And now we get to follow along on her dates while they’re filming the next season. Rachel took six of the guys on a group date to the “Ellen” show yesterday, which we’ll get to see on TV today. Ellen makes the guys go into the audience and dance for money and then the two winners went head-to-head in a game where they got to explain what they like most about Rachel but ended up wearing wet T-shirts. Then there was another group date where Rachel took ten of the guys to a high school where they ended up playing basketball with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The interesting thing about that is Kareem wrote an essay for The Hollywood Reporter a couple months ago where he slammed the Bachelor franchise. We get to see this stuff and more when The Bachelorette returns on May 22.

What’s up with Drake’s obsession with Sade? He’s made no secret of his love for her. In fact, about 6 years ago, the two of them were talking about a musical collaboration, but she ended up working with Jay Z instead. Maybe Sade was playing hard to get? Because it’s working! Drake loves her so much he got a tattoo of Sade’s face and autograph on his ribs!
There’s a rumor that an intimate tape featuring Britney Spears is floating around out there, but Britney’s people deny it exists. However, RadarOnline says the tape does exist. In fact, they’ve seen it. But they’re choosing not to publish it. An insider told Radar that Britney is horrified this is happening and those close to her are afraid this could push her over the edge. They’re doing everything they can to keep this tape from being released.
TMZ is reporting that Nia Long was a complete nightmare on the set of “Empire.” In fact, a source says she was so awful to the hair and makeup people, they filed an official complaint against her! And Taraji P. Henson reportedly was furious with the way Nia treated the staff that she refused to speak to her, and producers had to figure out how to shoot scenes including both women separately. Nia’s rep told TMZ that she “has always, and continues to be, a consummate professional on set. In respect to her working relationships with the cast, she came onto this project, in the first place, because of her long-standing friendship and professional relationship with Terrence Howard.” The rep also says it’s interesting these stories came out the same day “Empire” made its mid-season return.
