If any teenagers want to see Mean Girls at the theater this weekend and their parents don’t feel like driving them, Uber and Paramount studios are teaming up to offer teens a free ride over this long holiday weekend. Kids will be out of school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so today through Monday, Uber is offering two free rides up to $15 for NEW Uber teen account riders across the country. So that’s one trip to the theater and one trip back home.

Just one year after almost losing his life in a snowplow accident, Jeremy Renner shared a behind-the-scenes photo from his first day on the set of Mayor of Kingstown. Jeremy admits he was nervous getting back to work, but hopes he can pull this off for production and for fans of the show. Season 3 of Mayor of Kingstown was delayed while Jeremy made his miraculous recovery. New episodes will air on Paramount+, but but probably won’t be available until 2025 at the earliest.

Page Six is first to report that Dua Lipa is dating British actor Callum Turner. The two of them were dancing together Wednesday night at the afterparty for the premiere of Callum’s new series Masters of the Air. Now a source has confirmed to Page Six, “It’s new, but but they’re mad about each other.” Produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, Masters of the Air is about a group of airmen who risk their lives with the 100th Bomb Group during WWII. It’s a limited series for Apple TV+. Callum also appears on the big screen in George Clooney’s The Boys in the Boat, which is based on the true story of a rowing team at the University of Washington that competes in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. And you may recognize him as Theseus Scamander in a couple of movies in the Fantastic Beasts series.

The nominees for the 2024 People’s Choice Awards were announced yesterday. They’ve now got 45 categories so there are far too many to list here! Barbie leads with 9 nominations, including Movie of the Year. She’s going up against Fast X, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Oppenheimer, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Film, The Little Mermaid and The Super Mario Bros. Movie. These awards are literally chosen by the people who bother to vote online at VotePCA.com. Voting runs through 11:59pm Eastern on Friday, January 19. You can vote once per day in each category but on Tuesday, each vote will count twice. They’re calling it Turbo Tuesday. Winners will be announced live, Sunday, February 18, on NBC.

Page Six says that over the holidays, Travis Kelce asked Scott Swift for permission to marry his daughter, and Mr. Swift “wholeheartedly” gave his blessing. Their sources also say that Travis has been asking Taylor’s closest girlfriends what kind of ring she would like and that he plans to propose on their one-year dating anniversary in July. Even if any of this is true, Page Six just blew the surprise so Travis will probably have to come up with another plan…..
