Everyone expected “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” to be No. 1 at the box office, but did it meet expectations? Before its release, the movie was expected to earn between $175M-$185M here in the US, and it landed right in the middle with $180M! Globally, it earned $330M, which was less than the expected $365M, but still! “Wakanda Forever” also broke the record for the best November opening ever. The previous record was $158.1M, held since 2013 by “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” And side note, “Wakanda Forever” had a production budget of $250M, so it’s already made enough to cover that. Coming in second this weekend was “Black Adam,” earning another $8.6M, followed by “Ticket to Paradise” with $6.1M. “Lyle, Lyle Crocodile” was fourth with $3.2M, and “Smile” rounded out the top five with another $2.3M. That movie only cost $17M to make, and has so far earned $102.8M in the US and over $200M worldwide.

Nick Cannon and Abby De La Rosa welcomed their daughter to the world over the weekend. This would be Nick’s 11th child and his third with Abby. They named their baby girl Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon. Big brothers Zillion and Zion are 16 months old. In just a few short weeks, Nick will welcome his 12th child. Alyssa Scott is expecting in December. This is their second child together. Sadly, their 5-month-old son Zen passed away from brain cancer last December. Just in case you’re looking for a baby name, here are the names of Nick’s 11 children so far: 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with mama Mariah Carey; 5-year-old son Golden Sagon with Brittany Bell; 22-month-old daughter Powerful Queen, also with Brittany Bell; 16-month-old twin boys Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian with Abby De La Rosa; Zen Cannon, Nick and Alyssa Scott’s 5-month-old son who passed away; 4-month-old son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; 1-month-old son Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole; 1-month-old son Rise Messiah — his third child with Brittany Bell; and now newborn daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin, his third child with Abby De La Rosa.

Last week, it was announced that Aaron Carter’s unfinished book would be released tomorrow. But now, the attorney representing author Andy Symonds and his publisher Ballast Books released a statement saying, “Out of respect for the Carter family, my client has decided to defer the further release of the book at this time.” That lawyer said Aaron “wanted his story told” and chose Andy Symonds, a “well-respected journalist and author to tell that story with all its beauty and rawness.” However, Aaron’s reps told Page Six that Aaron did not want the book to ever see the light of day. In fact, his publicist said, “Aaron, in the midst of (working on the book) said, ‘I want nothing to do with this’ and stopped, so the fact that the publisher is saying it’s green-lit, it’s not. That’s against Aaron’s wishes.”

Dave Chappelle opened SNL with a 15-minute standup routine. Twitterverse is decided. Some are saying Dave was brilliant and the entire show should’ve been Dave doing standup. Others criticized him for perpetuating antisemitism. The national director of the Anti-Defamation League tweeted, “We shouldn’t expect @DaveChappelle to serve as society’s moral compass, but disturbing to see @nbcsnl not just normalize but popularize #antisemitism. Why are Jewish sensitivities denied or diminished at almost every turn? Why does our trauma trigger applause?” But not every Jewish person was offended. Tangle News founder Isaac Saul tweeted, “Let me be the first Jew to say: Dave Chappelle’s SNL open last night was hilarious, timely, honest, and a reminder that he still understands this country better than a lot of people whose whole job is to understand the country. It’s okay to acknowledge there are a lot of Jews in media and Hollywood. And like Dave said, you can simultaneously note that it’s very stupid to think this means they are in some cabal controlling the world.”

Page Six is first to report that Gisele Bündchen has a new man! She’s vacationing in Costa Rica with Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. They were photographed dining at a restaurant with her two kids, 12-year-old Benjamin and 9-year-old Vivian. Page Six isn’t sure when their romance began, but last year, Gisele did a photo shoot for “Dust” magazine with Joaquim and his two brothers, who are also Jiu-Jitsu instructors. Then in February of this year, Gisele posted on Instagram that she’d been training with the Valente bothers at their gym in Miami. She said, “I feel stronger, more confidence and empowered since I started practicing self-defense….Thank you @ValenteBrothers for … making training so much fun.” Tom Brady reacted to that video on Twitter, posting, “My days of leaving dishes in the sink are numbered.” Little did he know………
