According to “Variety”, the Hollywood elite have been “tapping their vast resources” and “cycling through private physicians” in order to jump the line and get their COVID-19 shots. Not everything they’re doing is illegal, but it does raise ethical concerns. One Beverly Hills doctor says he’s been offered five figure bribes for people who want to jump the line. Some are taking private planes to other states where it’s easier to get the vaccine. Managers, agents, and producers are reportedly helping clients and stars line up shots for themselves and their families, while some are trying to get hired by insurance or medical companies to get priority. And big donors are putting the pressure on hospitals to let them jump the line. (Remind anyone of the college admissions scandal?) One top entertainment executive who refused to be identified said, quote, “It’s ‘The Hunger Games’ out there.”

Amy Schumer was the reason Hilaria Baldwin got caught up in the Spanish heritage scandal during the holidays. Amy made fun of a picture Hilaria posted of her holding her 4-month-old son while wearing sexy lingerie. Hilarie was so upset over the body-shaming, she posted a video about it, but that’s when people noticed her Spanish accent had simply disappeared. Then all heck broke loose and Hilaria was exposed as a fraud. In a new interview, Amy was asked about the whole situation. She said, “I didn’t know that was going to happen, obviously…(Hilaria) is amazing and I wish her and her family the best and I hope she gets to visit Spain as much as she wants.” But why did Amy post the photo in the first place? She explained, “It’s a little insane to be in, like, lingerie with your baby. I just thought that was a little funny, and then I saw that she made a video and she seemed a little bit upset…I was just like, ‘I don’t want to be mean,’ and she seemed like maybe it hurt her feelings, so I just took it down.” Amy added, “Look, she’s a mom. She has a million and a half kids, and that’s really hard….I don’t want them to be going through a bad time. But also, you can’t just pretend you’re from Spain.”

Paris Hilton was a guest on “The Trend Reporter with Mara” podcast and revealed that she’s undergoing IVF treatments to make babies with her boyfriend, Carter Reum. If you’re asking, “Who the heck is Carter Reum?” He and his brother launched an investment firm and they invest in dozens of companies, including Lyft, Pinterest and Rothy’s. Anyway, Paris said Carter is her “dream guy” and is “100 percent” the one, which is why she’s going to make babies with him. Paris said, “We’ve been doing the IVF, so I can pick twins if I like. Kim [Kardashian] is actually the one who told me about that. I didn’t even know anything about it.” Paris turns 40 next month and the podcast host asked her how she still looks so young. Paris confessed, “I look the same because I’ve never done anything. I feel so proud. I’m 100 percent natural. I’ve never had botox. I’ve never done a filler. I’ve never had any plastic surgery whatsoever. And the one piece of advice my mom told me since I was like 7 years old is to stay out of the sun!”

Trey Songz was arrested Sunday night at an NFL game. Kansas City Police say they were kicking him out of the stadium for not following their mask protocol and Trey started a fight. Police have released a video from a new angle that shows security talking to Trey three different times about wearing his mask. He refuses each time. Then, a police officer approaches making it the fourth time he was asked to comply. After about a 90 second conversation, the video shows Trey throwing the first punch when the officer tries to remove him from the stadium. He was booked on a handful of charges, including assaulting a police officer. Trey’s team says the officer had it out for him before the fight. This new video does not support that.

Yesterday marked the 20th anniversary of “The Wedding Planner” hitting theaters. I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH. Jennifer plays a wedding planner named Mary who is rescued from a runaway dumpster on the streets of San Francisco by a pediatrician named Eddie and they’re obviously meant for each other. The only problem is, one of Jennifer’s clients happens to be marrying Matthew. It’s movie perfection. But did you know Jennifer and Matthew weren’t the first picks for those roles? At first, the studio wanted Minnie Driver to play Mary! When that didn’t work out, they sent the script to another studio, who were considering Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar for the role of Mary and it was between Freddie Prinze Jr. and Brendan Fraser to play Eddie!! But Jennifer fought hard for that part, going to lunch with the director and winning him over. So it was settled. Jennifer Lopez and Brendan Fraser would star in “The Wedding Planner.” But negotiations with Brendan fell apart and they were just weeks away from the start of filming. The director said Matthew was the only actor available to meet the start date, so the role went to him!
