It’a been almost 13 years since Aaliyah passed away in a plane crash in the Bahamas. She was only 22. Lifetime is producing a movie based on the book Aaliyah: More Than a Woman, and Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman snagged the lead. She’ll record four of Aailyah’s most well-known songs for the movie.

Dancing With the Stars pro Mark Ballas was involved in a pretty scary car accident in LA yesterday afternoon. TMZ is reporting that Mark came to an intersection and was in the process of making a right turn when another car speeding in his lane couldn’t stop in time and slammed into his back right side. The five guys in the car that hit Mark jumped out yelling and accusing Mark of causing the accident, but an eyewitness came forward and told cops it absolutely wasn’t Mark’s fault. Mark complained of whiplash and back pain and his girlfriend took him to the hospital to get checked out. Doctors prescribed some pain meeds and sent him home.

Tracy Morgan’s rep shared some good news. He says Tracy’s condition has been upgraded to fair condition and says Tracy’s personality is starting to come back as well. Tracy had been in critical but stable condition since a deadly six-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7. His comic mentor James McNair, aka Uncle Jimmy Mack, died in the crash.

Harry Styles reportedly joined Kabbalah and is the process of “purifying” himself. A source says Harry has sworn off sex for six months because he feels like meaningless hookups are preventing him from having a meaningful relationship. So if he’s been practicing Kabbalah for about a month, that means he’ll be off of his self-imposed sex fast by Thanksgiving.

Whatever was or wasn’t happening between Jennifer Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy seems to be over before it ever really got going anywhere. Sources told Page Six that Maks didn’t like all the media attention that came with the mere suggestion that he was Jennifer’s rebound. In fact, it was a real turnoff for him. And Jennifer may have lost interest because she recently tweeted she’s not dating anyone new.
