Box office weekend update… LEGO unveils new ‘The Office’ set … Chromatica Ball tour wardrobe… John Cena got married for a second time… and Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck are married

“Thor: Love and Thunder” is number one for a second week, taking in another $46M at the US box office. Globally, the movie is a couple million shy of half a billion. On the downside, “Thor” had a 68% drop in ticket sales — one of the worst second week box office drops in MCU history. Coming in second this weekend was “Minions: The Rise of Gru” with $26M, followed by the debut of “Where the Crawdads Sing” with $17M. “Top Gun: Maverick” was fourth with $12M and “Elvis” rounded out the top five with $7.6M.

Lego has immortalized Jim, Pam, Michael, Dwight and all the gang at Dunder Mifflin in plastic bricks. “The Office” Lego set is available exclusively at Walmart for a whopping $120. You can pre-order now and it hits store shelves on Oct. 1. It’s actually very cool. It features a complete Lego replica of the Dunder Mifflin offices, including Michael’s private office and the break room. A total of 15 characters come with it, along with a bunch of memorable items from the show’s nine-season run, including Kevin’s pot of chili, a stapler in gelatin, Jim’s teapot, Pam’s engagement ring, a Dundie trophy and a “World’s Best Boss” mug, among many, many others.

Lady Gaga kicked off her long-awaited, much-anticipated “Chromatic Ball” worldwide tour yesterday in Düsseldorf, Germany. Donatella Versace helped Gaga design some of the costumes for the show, which are so valuable, Gaga has hired security guards just for the wardrobe. Gaga reportedly practiced with the clothes on — so she could see how they held up and felt during her upcoming performances — and wherever those clothes moved, security guards followed. A source told “The Sun,” “There are lots of outfits which are being guarded 24/7 because they are so precious and her team doesn’t want them being damaged or seen by anyone. She loves a costume change so there’s a lot of clothes to guard.”

In celebrity relationship news, John Cena re-married his wife of nearly two years on Friday. He and Shay Shariatzadeh renewed their vows in an intimate ceremony in Vancouver. They were originally married in an attorney’s office 2 years ago. Shay was born in Iran. She’s now a Canadian citizen who works as an electrical engineer for a tech company in Vancouver. She and John met in 2019 while he was filming a movie in Vancouver. He saw Shay with some friends at a restaurant and just had to say hello. And Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker are really bad at this breaking up thing. They were supposed to have broken up about a month ago, but Kendall just posted a bunch of vacation pictures from Hawaii and Devon is in the background. Kendall also posted a picture showing off her dress for a wedding in LA over the weekend. She was with a guy in a suit, but their heads were cut off. We have to assume it was Devon because there are other pictures from the wedding showing her with him.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are married!!! Just three months after becoming engaged for the second time, Jennifer revealed in her “On the JLo” newsletter that she and Ben went to the courthouse, stood in line with four other couples to get a marriage license, and then went to the Little White Chapel in Vegas, which stayed open an extra half hour for them to get married. Jennifer began in her newsletter, “We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.” Jennifer shared, “We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight. They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed.” The license was taken out on Saturday and is in their legal names, Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez. In her announcement, Jennifer signed off as “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck,” and the recorder’s office shows that Jennifer intends to legally change her name.
