More cast members have been announced for the upcoming “Beauty and the Beast” 30th Anniversary special that will air on ABC in December. It was previously announced that H.E.R. and Josh Groban will star as Belle and Beast. Filling out other iconic rolls are Joshua Henry as Gaston. You may not be familiar, but he’s a musical theater guy currently starring in the Broadway musical “Into the Woods.” But the rest of the names you should know. David Alan Grier will play Cogsworth (the clock); Martin Short will play Lumiere (the candlabra); and Shania Twain is Mrs. Potts (the teapot)! And that means she gets to sing the title song “Beauty and the Beast” during the special, which will be a blend of animation and live-action performances. While the special will be taped in front of a live audience, it will not air live.

In new music news, Noah Cyrus and her daddy Billy Ray have teamed up for their first collaboration on her song “Noah (Stand Still).” Noah performs the solo version on her debut album “The Hardest Part.” The song is about the advice Billy Ray gave his Noah as she was secretly battle an addiction to Xanax, which we have to assume was around the time she was dating that rapper Lil Xan. And Kelsea Ballerini has a new album, “Subject to Change.” Yes, she will sing about her divorce from Morgan Evans, but she also sings about her now former friendship with Halsey. Back in 2020, Halsey was the featured artist on Kelsea’s song “The Other Girl,” which they performed most memorably on the CMT Awards. Apparently since then, it’s been crickets. On her song “Doin’ My Best,” Kelsea sings, “I was friends with a pop star / I put ‘em on track four / But wish I could take it back / I woulda never asked if I knew we wouldn’t talk anymore.”

In touring news, sources are saying that two superstars will be going on their first concert tours in years next year and Justin and Ana will both be happy. Beyonce is hitting the road to promote “Renaissance.” Sources told Page Six she’s busy booking stadiums and we should expect an official announcement in the next few weeks. Beyonce hasn’t been on the road since 2018 when she and Jay-Z toured to promote their album “Everything Is Love.” Her last solo tour was back in 2016 with “Formation.” Also, Taylor Swift is expected to go on tour next year. Several sources say she’s also busy booking stadiums. She hasn’t toured since 2018 for her “Reputation” album. That tour ended up being the highest-grossing tour ever in the United States and North America, taking in $345.7M.

Effective immediately, the Celtics have suspended head coach Ime Udoka for the entire 2022-23 season because he had a “consensual intimate relationship” with a woman on the Celtics staff, which is a violation of the team’s policies. In a statement, the Celtics added, “A decision about his future with the Celtics beyond this season will be made at a later date.” The only reason I’m doing this story is because Ime is engaged to Nia Long. They started dating in 2010 and had a son together in 2011. Four years later, Ime proposed and they’ve been engaged ever since. Ime released a statement saying, “I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” he said. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.” Now I have a homework assignment for you: If you don’t follow The Shade Room on Instagram, go take care of that right now because you need to read the comments on this story. Basically, on behalf of Nia Long, nobody accepts Ime’s apology. And they’re questioning his “apology,” asking why he didn’t apologize to his fiancee FIRST, and just buried her in there with the apology to his family.

During the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial, there were rumors that Johnny was dating his young, rock star attorney Camille Vasquez. People should’ve been paying attention to that other woman who walked in and out of court with Johnny and sat front row every day. She is British attorney Joelle Rich, who represented Johnny in his libel case against a British tabloid back in 2020. Some sources say Johnny and Joelle are now dating, but it’s nothing serious. But other sources say this is VERY serious and that their chemistry is off the charts. “Us Weekly” is reporting that Joelle was married when she met Johnny, but she has since filed for divorce.
