New sports podcast… Jennifer Lopez has canceled multiple dates… Bruno Mars has gambling debt… Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand… and Kate Middleton Kate Middleton raises questions

Do you like sports? Are you looking for a new podcast? Then you may be interested in an upcoming podcast hosted by Caitlyn Jenner and Lamar Odom. And OF COURSE they’re capitalizing on their Kardashian connection, calling it Keeping Up With Sports. While the subject of their famous exes may come up, the focus of this podcast is about what it takes to be the best in sports. According to TMZ, Caitlyn and Lamar have already recorded their first three episodes and their first guest will be boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard. TMZ said the podcast will debut within the next few weeks, but I just went to their YouTube page and it says it premieres this morning at 10, but this may just be a sizzle reel.

In concert news — Jennifer Lopez kicks off her This is Me…Now tour on June 26 in Orlando. The plan was to hit over 30 cities across the US and Canada before wrapping things up on Aug. 31 in Houston. But that plan has now changed, because Jennifer has canceled the last 7 shows of this tour. She will now end her tour in NYC, with two performances at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 16 and 17. Why? Jennifer didn’t say, but Entertainment Weekly said something about “logistical difficulty through the promoter.” So sorry, Atlanta, Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston! But one girl who will NEVER cancel on Houston is Megan Thee Stallion. She announced on her Instagram last week, “HOTTIESSS GET READY TO COME HAVE SOME FUN WITH ME AT THEE HOT GIRL SUMMER TOUR Get your outfits ready nowww! We getting started this MAY I told you what cities today to get yall prepared! Check back in on thee 20th for official dates im so exciteddddd.” She then posted a list of 27 cities, including her hometown of Houston, but we have to wait till Wednesday for dates and venues.

Before he made it in music, Bruno Mars used to support himself as a professional gambler. Poker is still his game of choice. For more than 8 years, Bruno has had a long-term residency at the Park MGM Las Vegas, and he just launched his new cocktail lounge called The Pinky Ring at the Bellagio, which is another MGM property. As part of his deal, Bruno gets to live at the casino’s various properties for free, which leaves him a lot of time to indulge in his poker passion. But a source told NewsNation that because of his gambling debts, Bruno is “basically owned” by MGM. The source said, “His debts have gotten as high as $50M…He makes $90M a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt.” The source did note that $90M after taxes is more like $60M, but STILL!!

When things started getting serious with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle shut down her lifestyle blog The Tig. But now that she and Harry have pretty much shunned all things Royal — except the perks — Meghan has launched a new lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard. There is an official website, but if you go there, only the logo is posted and you can enter your email address to join the waiting list…..waiting for what, I don’t know. There’s also an official Instagram page which already has over 530K followers, but again, all that’s posted is the logo and it’s not open for comments just yet. A source told the Daily Mail that Meghan’s new American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand will coincide with the launch of her new cooking show on Netflix. Basically, Meghan wants to be the next Martha Stewart, who’s still kicking it at 82, but may be getting a little tired. The source said, “Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog, etc.” Another source told Page Six that American Riviera Orchard is basically a revamp of her old blog The Tig, which was short for Meghan’s favorite wine, Tignanello. Page Six’s source said, “She’s been working on this for over a year and it’s all the things that are close to her heart — all the things she’s passionate about.” Basically it will center around all things home, garden and food….just like Martha Stewart…and Ina Garten…and Gwyneth Paltrow… Meghan hasn’t confirmed anything about her new Netflix show, but back in 2020, she and Prince Harry signed a $100M deal with Netflix that expires in 2025. Sources told Page Six that Netflix does not plan to renew their deal with Harry and Meghan, so she’s “trying to use the last of it to make her mark in the lifestyle industry.”

Mother’s Day in England was celebrated on March 10, and in honor of the occasion — and as proof of life — Kensington Palace released a photo of Kate Middleton and her three children. The photo was immediately called out for a photoshop fail, and then Kate — or someone pretending to be her — released a statement taking responsibility, saying, “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared caused.” That only led to more questions. Well, Jessica Reed Kraus is an independent journalist who goes by House Inhabit on Instagram and has a very popular Substack. Like many of us, she’s wondered what’s up with the future Queen of England, whose last public appearance was on Christmas Day. The Palace announced on January 17 that Kate had a scheduled abdominal procedure the day before. They expected her to spend up to two weeks in the hospital before returning home to continue her recovery. But then the rumors started that Kate is in a coma or WORSE. Well, Jessica did some digging. She said three different sources swore up and down that Katherine suffers from colitis and had bowel resection surgery. That’s where part of the small and/or large intestine is removed. During recovery, the patient has to wear a colostomy bag. But I checked several medical websites and they all said that the patient should be back to normal 2-3 weeks after surgery, and it’s now been 2 months.
