In movie news, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire debuted in first place with $45.2M, knocking Dune 2 down to second with $17.6M. In other movie news, filming is expected to begin in May for a FOURTH Bridget Jones movie starring Renée Zellweger. It’s expected to be ready for release next year. But if you were looking forward to seeing The Batman Part II next year, you have to wait a little longer. No reason was given, but it’s been bumped from October 2025 to October 2026. This will be Robert Pattinson’s second go ‘round as Batman with Barry Keoghan starring as the Joker. Speaking of Robert, he became mega famous thanks to the Twilight movies. Fans of the movie series may be excited to hear that Lionsgate is now working on an animated series based on Stephenie Meyer’s vampire saga.

The Recording Academy has announced its inductees for the 2024 Grammy Hall of Fame, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, they’re hosting their very first gala and concert on May 21. To be eligible, a recording by an artist must be at least 25 years old and “exhibit qualitative or historical significance.” This year’s 10 inductees include the albums Appetite for Destruction by Guns N’ Roses and Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, along with singles like Donna Summer’s I Feel Love, Charley Pride’s Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’ and The Doobie Brothers’ What a Fool Believes.

A fashion industry source close to Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori told Page Six that the couple is basically trolling us. Despite fears that Kanye is manipulating her thoughts and controlling her actions, the source said Bianca is totally in on it. The source said, “People are confusing Bianca’s creativity. She is a phenomenal personality, a phenomenal actor, who can entertain the public. She’s a performance artist. Bianca is as much a performer as Ye is.” In fact, the source says Bianca comes up with most of the ideas for her see-through outfits!

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval have been battling over their $2M house in Valley Village since Scandoval broke. Tom wanted to buy Ariana out, but she filed a lawsuit asking a judge to force the sale of the house so they could split the proceeds. Either way, neither one was budging. But now, Ariana’s budged. TMZ says she’s bought a $1.6M home near the Hollywood Hills. It’s a recently renovated 3BR/2BA mid-century modern originally built in 1962. Meantime, she and Tom are still fighting over the sale of the house they share. Tom responded to Ariana’s lawsuit saying claiming a lien on the house is tied to $90K that Ariana owes him, and it has to be paid back before a judge can force the sale.

To satisfy the nosy and the concerned alike, Katherine Middleton finally announced on Friday that she is battling cancer. She released a video explaining, “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.” Kate said she and Prince William kept the diagnosis private for as long as they did so they could help their three young children understand what was happening and know that their mommy is going to be okay.
