Katy Perry Extends Literal Olive Branch To Taylor Swift

Meghan Markle wax figure… Kanye invited to Crips community… Offset protecting Cardi B… Drake finally took the hint… and Katy Perry extends literal olive branch to Taylor Swift

Madame Tussaud’s London has unveiled the new Meghan Markle wax figure, standing right by her Royal fiancé, Prince Harry, whose wax figure has been updated to include a beard. Meghan’s figure is wearing the same green dress she wore the day the couple announced their engagement, only we couldn’t see it that well because she was wearing that gorgeous white coat over it. The Harry and Meghan figures won’t be displayed to the public until May 18, which is the day before the Royal Wedding. And Madame Tussaud’s is offering free admission to guests named Meghan or Harry on the day of the wedding.

Last week, a rapper named Daz Dillinger ordered his fellow Crips to attack Kanye — only he used much less family-friendly language — because he was spouting off love for Donald Trump. Sources are now saying Crips leaders have called off the hit and they would even like Kanye to visit them in Long Beach and show some support for the community. DON’T DO IT, KANYE!! IT’S A TRAP!!

Cardi B was leaving a Met Gala after party at the Mark Hotel when a man standing outside asked her for an autograph. She said no, but the man asked again, saying, “I’m an autograph hound.” And then her fiancé Offset comes out and the “autograph hound” asked him for his signature and Offset said, “Shut up, bro, before a (blank) beat you out here.” That’s when this guy starts asking to be hit, saying, “Please beat me up! Be a fool, man!” And then he yelled at their security guards, “I’ll take all your money.” And that’s when all heck broke loose. Three men started kicking this guy’s butt and he ended up going to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries, all of which he documented for his sure-to-be-coming lawsuit. The victim has been identified as Giovanni Arnold, who has a history of run-ins with celebrities. Eleven years ago, he sued Lindsay Lohan and her mom Dina because he claimed he was hit by Lindsay’s BMW and “sustained severe and permanent personal injuries.” And then three years ago, Entertainment Tonight included him in a story about people who make money off celebrity autographs.

It sounds like Drake finally took the hint. After Vogue magazine reported that Rihanna “winced” at the mention of his name, how she told them that she didn’t like being put on blast when he gushed about her at the MTV Awards two years ago, and how she and Drake “don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies” and “it is what it is,” Drake has finally unfollowed Rihanna on Instagram.

Yesterday on Instagram, Taylor Swift posted an Instagram story showing the literal olive branch Katy Perry sent her before the kickoff of her “Reputation” tour. Katy also included a note and the part that we could read said, “I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunication and the feelings between us…” Other words we could make out are “deeply sorry” and “clear the air.” Taylor said, “So I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This means so much to me.” So after almost five years, the hatchet is buried! This all started when Katy allegedly stole some of Taylor’s backup dancers for her tour. That’s when the shady tweets and interviews began. It got really bad when Taylor released her song “Bad Blood” and Katy attempted to retaliate with “Swish Swish.” But the most passive aggressive move may have been last year when Taylor posted her entire back catalog to Spotify the same day Katy released her “Witness” album.
