Rashee Rice got issued an arrest warrant… TV & movie update… Music news… Shakira’s love interest… and Kellie Rasberry Headlines the Showbiz Top 5

An arrest warrant has been issued for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice for his involvement in a six-vehicle crash that happened during a street race in Dallas on March 30. He now faces eight felony charges, including six counts of collision involving bodily injury, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury and one count of aggravated assault. Dallas police investigators determined that Rashee was driving a Lamborghini and his buddy was driving a Corvette, both of which Rashee had rented, as they raced up Central Expressway. Rashee reportedly hit the center median wall, which caused four other vehicles to collide with each other. Days after the crash, Rashee apologized on his IG Stories and and said he was cooperating with “the necessary authorities.”

In TV news, it’s been almost 25 years since the series finale of the Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff, Melrose Place. But all these years later, a sequel series is in development at CBS Studios, and Heather Locklear (Amanda Woodward), Daphne Zuniga (Jo Reynolds) and Laura Leighton (Sydney Andrews) are all expected to return. According to Deadline, the series will pick up with a number of the OG Melrose Place residents reuniting after one of their dearest friends dies suddenly. IF the project moves forward, more original cast members are expected to come aboard. And in movie news, with the overwhelming success of Barbie, Margot Robbie is returning to the Land of Toys. Her LuckyChap production company along with Hasbro Entertainment will be producing a live-action movie based on Monopoly! Monopoly is the world’s most popular board game brand, reportedly with 99% global awareness. It’s available in more than 100 countries around the world, selling almost half a billion copies dating back to 1935.

Aerosmith’s Peace Out farewell tour had to peace out for a bit after Steven Tyler injured his vocal cord last year. Then the doctor discovered he’d fractured his larynx! I didn’t even know you could do that! But Steven has now recovered well enough to hit the road again. The Black Crowes and Teddy Swims will be joining as opening acts on select dates of the tour. Peace Out picks up again starting Sept. 20 in Pittsburgh. They’s travel all across the US and slip in and out of Canada before wrapping things up Feb. 26 in Buffalo. If you had a ticket from the shows that were canceled and now rescheduled, you’ll get an email with more info. And tickets for the rescheduled dates go on sale tomorrow morning at 10am your local time at aerosmith.com.

Lucien Laviscount plays Lily Collins’ love interest Alfie on Emily in Paris, and he plays Shakira’s love interest in her music video for Puntería. But unlike Lily, Shakira is single. And according to Us Weekly, Shakira and Lucien are now seeing each other! One source said Shakira was “pleasantly surprised by how charming and funny” Lucien was while they were working together. Another source said what they have is light and playful, and he is VERY into her. By the way, Shakira is 47 and Lucien is 31.

Bravo and Cocktails is a Bravo-focused gossip account that posts any and all rumors submitted to them, without going through the hassle of verifying. It’s all in fun, but because they post any and everything, sometimes Bravo and Cocktails get it right. As far as a recent rumor, B&C says they have a source looking into it and will update when they have more info. As for now, here’s where the rumor stands. Per a submission to BravoandCocktails.com, “Rumors are swirling about a Real Housewives of Dallas comeback on Peacock a la Miami. It will be the same production company. Expect to see at least one familiar face as the cast will be built around Dr. Tiffany Moon. Other names being tossed around are Social Media Influencers Bridget who recently married a Dallas area plastic surgeon & Courtney Kerr married to the owner of The Rustic, and popular Dallas radio personality Kelly (sic) Rasberry. Stephanie has been asked but is on the fence…D’andra & Leeanne are expected to make a return along with Cary Deuber but most likely as a friend of…Casting decisions are expected to be finalized by the end of the month! Stay tuned!!!” Among the 22 comments, only two were about me, so I’ll post them verbatim, complete with misspelled names. First up is from Ashley who said, “I’m from DFW and I Love Kelli Rasberry and her husband Alan! I don’t think she would do it honestly. She doesn’t ‘live in Dallas’ she actually lives in the same city as Brandi. Which Leeanne has publicly made it known that it’s beneath Dallas residences. So we will see if it’s true!” And then J writes, “I would definitely get Peacock for this…and Murder She Wrote. Kellie Raspberry was on a few episodes of RHOD before. I like her a lot, but I’m not sure if she’d fit in with a Housewives crew. Plus I feel like people who have listened to her on the radio for 20+ years know a lot about her and her story. Bring on Dr. Tiffany, she is amazing!”
