Adam and Miley butt heads on ‘The Voice’… “Kocktails with Khloe” is no more… Rob Kardashian’s weight loss… Kesha court update… and Kelly Clarkson VOTES for first time to select ‘Idol’ winner
Blake Shelton and Adam Lambert are back for Season 11 of “The Voice,” with new coaches Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus. A source on set told told Us Weekly that things are a little touchy between Adam and Miley. The source said, “They both have short attention spans. They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.” The source says Blake, on the other hand, adores Miley. I’m guessing it’s because he loves the way she annoys Adam.
Is this one of those “You can’t fire me because I quit!” situations? “Kocktails with Khloe” is no more. FYI has shut down production and the final episodes will air later this month. TMZ is reporting that Khloe wants to focus on her other jobs and has no interest in coming back for a second season. Had people actually been watching the show, I’m sure she would’ve felt a lot differently about the situation.
Blac Chyna is taking full credit for Rob Kardashian’s weight loss so far, and she’s committed to having him lose a lot more. Yesterday she posted a picture of Rob standing on the scale weighing 248 pounds, captioning it, “PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE HATE COMMENTS. YOUR COMMENT WILL BE DELETED IF SO.” She also posted a video where she asks Rob, “Do you give me permission to train you for the next 5 weeks every day?” And Rob says, “Of course!” Why 5 weeks? Because Chyna wants him looking sharp for her birthday on May 11th.
A Manhattan judge has thrown out most of Kesha’s appeal in her case against Sony Music. Back in February, a judge ruled that Kesha couldn’t be released from her contract with Sony and Dr. Luke, the man she accuses of sexually assaulting and emotionally abusing her. Judge Shirley Kornriech said Kesha had “failed to plead that any of the alleged discrimination occurred in New York State or City” and that the court had no jurisdiction over her claims. The court also denied Kesha’s claims that Dr. Luke’s abuse constituted a hate crime. This isn’t over, though. Judge Kornriech did allow Kesha to could continue her case against Dr. Luke and Sony over whether her contract is still valid based on the fact that Dr. Luke sued her for money damages instead of performance after she tried to break her recording agreement.
After 15 seasons, the original American Idol Kelly Clarkson was so moved by La’Porsha Ranae’s performance that she voted for the first time ever. That may have very well been the vote that helped put her over the top because La’Porsha did make the final two for tonight’s series finale. And she will be going up against Trent Harmon. And who’s perfectly okay with that? Dalton Rapattoni! He was literally THRILLED to be eliminated last night.
