Party with celebs!… Mariah Carey and James Packer wedding planning… Kim Kardashian on Kanye West’s Twitter rants… A$AP Rocky attacked… and Kesha supporters planning to rally
You can party with celebs, but it’s gonna cost you! VIPConcierge.com is selling tickets to nine different parties over Oscars weekend. The cheapest ticket goes for $1499 — it’s the annual Night of 100 stars, but because it’s the cheapest ticket, don’t expect the biggest celebrities. Last year, they had people like Amy Smart, Harry Hamlin and Gary Busey. The most expensive party would be the William Morris Endeavor’s pre-party. Those tickets go for $5490 each, but you’re required to buy them in sets of two. But you’re pretty much guaranteed to rub elbows with some A-listers. Last year, Leo DiCapriro, Steve Carrell and Jim Carrey all showed up.
Neither one of them are officially divorced, but Mariah Carey and James Packer it’s full-steam ahead with the wedding planning! Page Six is reporting that the couple is thinking about having the ceremony in Tahiti and that James’ super yacht will be involved. Mariah said, “It’s not going to be a big wedding, but it’s going to be grand…I’m most excited about the grandeur, darling.”
Kim Kardashian doesn’t enjoy Kanye West’s Twitter rants as much as we do. Several sources told “Us Weekly” that Kim is so annoyed by it that she wants Kanye to get therapy. A family source told the magazine, “Kim is very concerned and frustrated. She and Kanye are having big problems that are escalating and she has demanded that Kanye get therapy.” So far, Kanye hasn’t given in.
A$AP Rocky was reportedly attacked at a hotel in New Zealand. According to TMZ, this happened about 3am — and nothing good ever happens at 3am. Reportedly, A$AP was getting into an elevator with a bunch of girls and three men who weren’t with their group wanted to get on, too, but there was no more room. These guys didn’t like that one bit and started yelling “(BLANK) A$AP!” and jumped him, punching him in the head and face. Hotel security ended up breaking things up until the police arrived and arrested one of the men for assault and resisting arrest.
A rally supporting Kesha is being planned for tomorrow morning outside the Sony studios in NYC. Will all those people holding their #FreeKesha signs be enough to pressure Sony into letting her out of her contract? Last week, a judge ruled that Kesha can’t break her contract with Sony because there are other producers besides Dr. Luke that she can work with. But according to the rally’s organizer, since she’s singed to Dr. Luke’s recording label — which is under Sony Music’s umbrella — so any music she is expected to release will be under his label, have his name on it, earn him profits and will be undoubtedly left to plummet…regardless of who the producer is.
