Am I reading this right?? It’s been 3 years since “Fixer Upper” ended original episodes?? The show ran for five seasons on HGTV, following Chip and Joanna Gaines as they fixed up run-down homes in and around Waco, TX. It was the #1 unscripted show on all of cable television, with 75M viewers tuning in for the show’s fifth and final season. Almost 20M of us watched every week. But guess what…..Yesterday, Chip and Joanna announced that “Fixer Upper” is coming back! It will premiere on their new Magnolia Network, which is scheduled to launch early next year. Magnolia Network is a rebrand of Discovery’s DIY Network.

“Big Brother: All-Stars” premieres tonight on CBS. According to host Julie Chen Moonves, all the contestants have been quarantining in homes CBS rented for them, and they’ve been tested every few days. Julie explained contestants will only be allowed in the house they’ve tested negative for at least 14 days, and testing will continue once they’re inside the Big Brother house. Julie said they flew in more than 16 people and some aren’t going to be able to go in because they tested positive. We’ll find out who made the cut live tonight. In addition to constant testing, the entire crew will be living in a protective bubble, any groceries delivered to the house will be disinfected, and there won’t be a studio audience to greet evicted houseguests. However, Julie said the houseguests are free to hook up all they want.

In a “make it or break it” move, Kim and Kanye put all the kids on a private jet and flew to some remote island outside the US to work on their marriage. A source says they’re basically staying in a fortress that’s impossible for paparazzi to access. A source also said Kim plans to fly in their close friend and pastor, Rich Wilkerson Jr., hoping he can get through to Kanye. Rich officiated their wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy.

Remember when Ellen DeGeneres spoke out in support of Kevin Hart when his old homophobic tweets cost him his job hosting the Oscars? In fact, she took a lot of heat from the LGBTQ community when campaigned for Kevin to be re-hired for the gig. Well, now it’s Kevin’s turn to stand up for Ellen. He posted on Instagram yesterday, “It’s crazy to see my friend go thru what she’s going thru publicly. I have known Ellen for years and I can honestly say that she’s one of the dopest people on the (BLANKING) planet. She has treated my family and my team with love and respect from day 1. The internet has become a crazy world of negativity….we are falling in love with peoples down fall. It’s honestly sad…When did we get here? I stand by the ones that I know and that I love. Looking forward to the future where we get back to loving one another….this hate s*** has to stop. Hopefully it goes out of style soon….This post is not meant to disregard the feelings of others and their experiences….It’s simply to show what my experiences have been with my friend. Love you for life Ellen…”
