Golden Globes recap… Britney Spears made an announcement… Celebrities ring in the new year… Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth were married… and Kim & Kanye have announced they’re expecting their fourth child

If you missed the Golden Globes last night, people are mostly talking about the upsets. With the exception of winning for Best Original Song for “Shallow,” “A Star Is Born” lost every other award it was up for, including Best Drama. In an upset, “Bohemian Rhapsody” took the trophy. Rami Malek also beat out Bradley Cooper for Best Actor, Drama. Everyone expected Lady Gaga to win for Best Actress, Drama, but Glenn Close’s name was announced for her work on “The Wife,” which shocked the heck out of her, too. She gave a great speech, though. And in another upset, “Green Book” beat out “Vice” for Best Movie, Musical or Comedy.

If you follow Britney Spears on Instagram, she’s been posting videos of her rehearsals of her upcoming Vegas show, “Domination,” which is set to begin next month. Well, scratch that. Britney has announced that the Vegas show isn’t happening. And it sounds like this isn’t a postponement, either. Britney posted an old photo of her with her mom and dad and captioned it, “…A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. How did some of your favorite celebrities ring in the new year? Drake threw a huge party at Delilah in West Hollywood. Among the celebrities there to pop bottles of Drake’s latest venture, Mod Selection Champagne, were Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Lebron, Idris Elba, and……Kylie and Kendall Jenner! They crossed enemy lines to party with their brother-in-law Kanye’s latest enemy. Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne performed at LIV Nightclub in Miami, collecting only $250,000 between the two of them. They’re close with the club’s owner, which is why they didn’t ask for their top rate. Taylor Swift hosted a costume party at her home in NYC, asking her guests to dress up as their childhood heroes. She went at Ariel from “A Little Mermaid.” But Tiffany Haddish would love to have a New Year’s do-over. During her standup show in Miami, she BOMBED. People were booing and walking out. Tiffany finally opened a bottle of vodka and invited the people who were left to come up and tell some jokes. She blamed her poor performance on partying too hard the night before.
