Thomas Gibson walks off “Criminal Minds”… Melissa Etheridge on the Brangelina divorce… BringDrakeToDrake campaign… Justin Bieber’s marijuana cause… and Kim Kardashian is ‘blaming herself’ for robbery

Thomas Gibson was fired from “Criminal Minds” after he kicked one of the show’s writers. Actually, Thomas said he was only defending himself and it was more like a “tap” than a “kick.” Either way, he was fired. So how did they handle his big sendoff? Was it a tear-jerker moment? A heart-pounding cliffhanger? Nope. Thomas’ last appearance on the show happened last night and he was barely in the show at all. In his last scene, Thomas’ character Aaron Hotchner gives J.J. Jareau some advice about spending some time away from work and then says, “I want you to take some time off, at least a week. It’s not a request.” Hotchner then walks away. And that was it. ‘Bye Thomas.

On Monday, Melissa Etheridge was on Andy Cohen’s satellite radio show and she talked a bit about Brad Pitt’s divorce from Angelina Jolie. Back in the day, Melissa was BFF’s with Brad and Jennifer Aniston. She even sang at their wedding. Melissa told Andy that she thought many of the rumors about Brad being abusive and abusive of drugs and alcohol were “completely unfounded” and “heartbreaking.” She also said that many people who knew Brad lost a friend when he began his relationship with Angelina. So guess who Melissa got a phone call from? She says Angelina’s “fixers.” This apparently has happened before so Melissa decided to write a song about it, “The Fixer Blues.” Among the more entertaining lyrics are “I have not seen my friend in over 10 years and I swear I have never, ever, ever, ever met his wife.”

Students at Drake University in Iowa knew he’d be passing through so they started a social media campaign “BringDrakeToDrake and begged him non-stop to drop by. So that’s exactly what Drake did! At 2am…..He went to Greek row and hit up the sorority houses, but everyone was asleep and nobody would answer the door. So Drake took a picture with the Drake University sign and left.

Justin Bieber finally found a cause to stand up for — medical marijuana use. He posted on Twitter, “This is important. I’m going to be talking more about this. We all need to pay attention.” He added a link to a video that explains how pharmaceutical companies are worried about marijuana being used as an alternative to pain pills, which would hit them where it hurts — their wallets!

Sources told “People” magazine that Kim Kardashian is blaming herself for the violent robbery in Paris. A source says she’s beating herself up for Snapchatting her engagement ring so much, which was one of the items stolen. The source says that even though Kanye wants to buy her a ring to replace it, Kim says she doesn’t even want to think about that right now. In fact, she’s going to be scaling way back on social media and you won’t see her flashing her wealth quite so boldly in the future.
