But then Tyra realized she’d declared the wrong couple safe and called our favorite cheerleading coach Monica Aldama back to the dance floor to stand next to Anne Heche, who was also in the bottom two. The judges kicked Anne to the curb.

“American Idol” rolled with the coronavirus punches and made it work last season, having all the contestants perform from their homes for the live rounds. And now production has begun on the upcoming and things will still be very different. For starters, Idol is not coming to you. You come to them. All audition episodes will be held in cities across California, so road trip! And instead of sitting at one big table, the judges will be seated at their own separate tables at least 6 feet apart.

Some movie updates — “The Batman” is being pushed back from October 2021 to March 2022, but because we can’t wait a minute too long for our beloved Keanu, “Matrix 4” is being bumped up from April 2022 to December 2021! As of now, “Wonder Woman 1984” is still set to open Christmas Day this year. And after a bidding war, New Line won the rights to “Super High,” starring Common, Craig Robinson and Andy Samberg. It’s about a special strain of marijuana that gives people superpowers.
