On-Set Drama For ‘The Voice’

Chip Gaines promised to cut his hair… TV shows come and go… Lamar Odom has two deals in jeopardy… Update on “The Four”… and On-set drama for ‘The Voice’

Chip Gaines promised to cut his hair if his fans donated money to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He said the more people gave, the shorter he’d go! Chip not only kept his promise, he shaved his head completely BALD. He posted a picture on Instagram yesterday showing all these happy kids suffering from cancer rubbing on his bald head. Last week, Chip and Joanna wrapped filming the fifth and final season of Fixer Upper.

Like Fixer Upper, TV shows come and go. And if you’re a fan of these new fall shows, I’ve got good news for you — they’re staying around for a while! The CW has picked up their revival of Dynasty for a full season. ABC thinks The Good Doctor is good enough for a full season, too. It’s actually the number one new drama on TV. Fox has faith in Seth MacFarlane. His show The Orville has already been renewed for a second season. And CBS has ordered a full season of David Boreanaz’s Seal Team as well as the Big Bang Theory spinoff, Young Sheldon. But CBS is not as happy with the new Me, Myself and I, and it’s in serious danger of being canceled. And Kyra Sedgwick’s Sunday night drama Ten Days in the Valley isn’t working out. They’re going to run the remaining episodes on Saturdays until they’re over and out.

Lamar Odom’s binge-boozing may have ended his shot at two new deals. RadarOnline.com is reporting that Lamar’s been writing a tell-all book and had a reality show in the works. But with Lamar’s recent collapse at an LA nightclub, a source told Radar, “Nobody wants to do a deal if they think you’re a liability….if they think you’re going to pass out or die.”

FOX has a new music competition show debuting in January called “The Four.” It’s going to emphasize hip hop artists and they’ve nailed down three of the four judges who have very different roles. Diddy is the mogul; DJ Khaled is the producer; Charlie Walk is the record exec; but the fourth and final judge — the big-time performer — is yet to be determined. Sources say it’s between Fergie, Meghan Trainor and Bebe Rexha.

When The Voice ends this season, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson will rotate out, while Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson will rotate in. But sources told RadarOnline.com that unlike other rotating judges, Jennifer most likely won’t be invited back. Their sources say she’s a complete diva on set, showing up late and constantly complaining about hair and makeup and wardrobe. And apparently she and Blake Shelton do NOT get along. One source says it’s gotten so bad he can’t even look at her.
