Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Announce She’s Pregnant

Weekend box office news… Elvis Presley TV special… Drake opened up about his son… Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson split… and Prince Harry & Meghan Markle announce she’s pregnant

“Venom” was number one at the box office for a second week, earning another $35.7 million. Coming in second again was “A Star Is Born” with $28 million. Third place went to the brand new “First Man.” Ryan Gosling’s space movie earned just $16.6 million, which was a little less than expected. The new “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween” was close behind in fourth place with $16.2 million.

So children, back in the day there was a man named Elvis Presley. He was a singer. And on December 3, 1968, Elvis had a TV special that was really popular. It was his first time performing live on NBC in seven years and it ended up being the network’s highest-rated show that season. To mark its show’s 50th anniversary, a bunch of singers got together on the same stage used for “The Voice” this weekend to record “The 50th Anniversary of the Elvis Comeback Special.” The performances were spread over two nights. The Blast reports that the first night included performances by Blake Shelton, Post Malone, Keith Urban, Shawn Mendes, Little Big Town and Darius Rucker. The second night included Adam Lambert, John Fogerty, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert, who performed with her group, Pistol Annies. Sources told The Blast that Miranda seemed noticeably irritated throughout her performance and walked offstage as soon as the music ended. Along with the live performances recorded this weekend, the tapings also included pre-recorded songs from artists like Jennifer Lopez, Ed Sheehan, Carrie Underwood, Alessia Cara and John Legend.

Drake was a guest on LeBron James’ HBO show, “The Shop,” and he opened up about his one-year-old son Adonis, the product of a fling with a now former adult film star, Sophie Brussaux. Drake admitted that his dream had been to start a family with Rihanna!! Drake said he was scared to tell his mom about the unplanned pregnancy because she “had a real belief and real relationships with women in my life…I’m sure she would expect or be elated if I were to have gotten one of those women pregnant…So it was tough for me to tell her that it’s somebody she’s never met.”

After 5 months of dating and almost the same amount of time being engaged, it’s over for Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson. Sources say it was just too much too soon. TMZ was first to break the news. Saturday night, Ariana was at “SNL” supporting Pete, and people who saw them say they looked like a couple in love, kissing and holding each other backstage. So the poo must’ve hit the fan on Sunday.

Who needs a town crier when you have Twitter! Kensington Palace tweeted the big news this morning: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.” People were looking a little side-eyed at Meghan when she showed up at Princess Eugenie’s wedding wearing that huge coat, and everyone who guessed she was hiding a pregnancy was right! RadarOnline.com is reporting that Harry and Meghan let their big news slip at Eugenie’s reception, and their source says the bride left the room on the brink of tears because she felt like they were stealing her spotlight. According to one Royal source, Meghan is about 12 weeks along, so for the next six months or so, it’s going to be all about the next Royal Baby! He or she will be 7th in line to the throne.
