If you are a super fan of the Royal Family, this should be right up your alley. A piece of wedding cake from Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s wedding FORTY YEARS AGO is up for auction. It was July 29, 1981, that I got up in the middle of the night and curled up in my daddy’s recliner to watch a fairy tale come to life. At the reception that followed, there were 23 cakes, and someone gave a piece to a member of the Queen Mother’s household. She kept it! She stored it in a floral cake tin and then sold it to a collector in 2008. Now the collector is putting it up for auction and it’s expected to sell for around $700. The auction house says, “It appears to be in exactly the same good condition as when originally sold. But we advise against eating it.”

After 17 years, Simon Cowell’s “The X-Factor” has been cancelled in the UK. Simon created the series in 2004, two years after we met him on “American Idol.” Simon has been a judge of “The X-Factor” for most of the seasons. Some of the biggest artists to come from the show are One Direction, Little Mix, and Leona Lewis. Reportedly, it was Simon’s decision to end his show. While the show does well in other countries — but not the US! — it’s come a bit stale in the UK. According to a source, the last thing Simon wants is for the show to “fizzle out with a whimper and become a bit of a joke.” Plus, Simon is gearing up to launch a new musical game show called “Walk The Line.” It’s a six-part series set to premiere in the UK later this year.

Soulja Boy’s friends threw him a birthday party in LA Wednesday night, and it caused so much commotion that cops shut it down before Soulja even got there. When he did show up, his friend Ray J gave him a McLaren sports car, which costs around $200k. And now people are trying to figure out how Ray J has that kind of money to spend on a friend’s birthday present!! From his Raycon headphones? The car is bright yellow and you better believe Ray J made sure the car had Raycon stickers on it.

Britney Spears seriously scared me yesterday. She is really loving her topless photo shoot and keeps posting the photo of her hands over her breasts. But yesterday, she upped her game. Britney posted a video snippet from her private topless photo shoot. She’s standing there in the shade of a tree, wearing her Daisy Dukes – with the waistband rolled down to make it extra sexy – still covering her breasts with her hands as she looks up to the sky and the wind blows through her hair. And then, BOOM! She edits to an extreme close-up of her face and it was one big Britney jump scare that almost made me drop my phone! She captioned it with three kissy lips and I don’t know what she’s trying to tell us.

Disney decided they would simultaneously release “Black Widow” in theaters and on Disney+. That move allegedly breached their contract with Scarlett Johansson and cost her millions, so she’s suing. According to the “Wall Street Journal,” Scarlett’s contract with tract with Disney’s Marvel Entertainment guaranteed that “Black Widow” would premiere exclusively in theaters and that her salary was based largely on how well the movie performed at the box office. Anonymous sources told Disney’s decision to debut the movie on Disney+ likely cost Scarlett more than $50M. Disney responded to Scarlett’s lawsuit by saying, “There is no merit whatsoever to this filing. The lawsuit is especially sad and distressing in its callous disregard for the horrific and prolonged global effects of the COVID-19 pandemic … Disney has fully complied with Ms. Johansson’s contract and furthermore, the release of Black Widow on Disney+ with Premier Access has significantly enhanced her ability to earn additional compensation on top of the $20M she has received to date.”
