Box office weekend… Alyssa Milano is asking for help… Kanye West bans wife from social media… Britney Spears apologizes to Justin Timberlake… and Taylor Swift congratulates Travis Kelce

Final box office numbers will come out later today, but as of right now, it’s too close to call. The Beekeeper now stands at $7.4M with Mean Girls at $7.3M. Paramount is hoping Mean Girls can squeak out another first place finish, which would be its third in a row. Meantime, the rest of the top five is the same as last week. Wonka is third with another $5.9M, followed by Migration with $5M and Anyone But You with $4.8M. Overall, it was a very lackluster box office. Hopefully, things will perk up this weekend when Argylle makes its highly-anticipated debut.

Alyssa Milano is rich. Not only is she rich, she’s married to a rich guy. David Bulgaria is one of the top guys at CAA, a MAJOR talent agency. So when Alyssa asked all of those who follow her on social media to contribute to a GoFundMe so her 12-year-old son’s baseball team could visit the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, she took a lot of heat. After reading all the negative comments, Alyssa posted, “I’m getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team. I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown birthday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues. The kids also do fundraising themselves; car washes, movie nights, and many other fun things! Thank you to all who have contributed to the gofundme! You’ve made things easier for these boys and their families.” While waiting for her own donations to roll in, Alyssa was busy reposting fundraisers for other sports teams trying to raise money to reach their goals. As of this morning, Alyssa’s goal of $10K has surpassed the $11K mark.

Kanye West reportedly banned his wife Bianca Censori from social media, but it’s for her own protection. But those close to Bianca say this is just Kanye’s way of further isolating her from reality. One source told the Daily Mail, “Bianca has always had social media and she was active on it — until she married Kanye…He doesn’t want her to have it because he thinks that it will hurt her if she had to read the nasty things that people say. He convinced her that, since she is a star now, she has to remain a mystery and it is creepy to those who know her as it feels like another form of control.” But Bianca’s friends say she needs protection from KANYE. One said, “He is pushing her nakedness all over his own [account] so that he can control her narrative. It is disturbing, and by shutting her off from the world he is causing her to become more and more isolated.” The source said, “She is wearing what he wants, going where he wants and doing what he wants because she really has no other choice. She went from being his designer to his wife, which is unfortunately, not a paid position. She’s trapped.”

Britney Spears must’ve seen her petty fans’ successful campaign to get her 13-year-old song Selfish to beat out Justin Timberlake’s new single Selfish on the iTunes charts. After seeing Justin perform this past weekend on SNL, Britney posted a clip from Jimmy Fallon’s Classroom Instruments featuring Justin, captioning it, “I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry…I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’ It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ??? Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow too.” As of this morning, Britney’s Selfish was No. 3 on the iTunes charts, Justin’s Selfish was No. 4.

It’s the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the San Francisco 49ers for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on Feb. 11! But will Taylor Swift be there to see it in person? Next week, Taylor will resume the international leg of her Eras Tour, performing Feb. 7-10 in Tokyo. If she takes off in her private jet by 6pm Japan Standard Time on Sunday, 13 hours later — thanks to the international date line — she would land in Las Vegas before kickoff at 3:30pm PT. And there’s really nothing stopping her from walking off that stage in Tokyo Saturday night and heading straight to the airport, so Taylor will DEFINITELY be there to see Travis Kelce play in that game!
